Brasserie Imperial is also known for the wonderful sunday brunch.

It was very close to interesting places to see and just few blocks away you can have a wide variety of restaurants.

Comfortable room with reasonable amount of space. Location was great - walking distance to the town square. Like a lot of hotels in Copenhagen very expensive for just a room (no breakfast included)

Room size is great. Beds are nicely firm with down comforters and pillows. Bathroom is dangerous. Tub is higher than the floor and when you step out you actually drop 6-8 inches more than where you were standing. Floor is marble and slick. No shower curtain or wash rags. Only moveable divider between shower and sink and the divider is only about 24 inches wide. My review: 4 stars for the room itself; 1 star for the bathroom.

a nice hotel, but I expected more for the price paid... again, the room was rather small, and bathroom was just miniscule. It was a package called "Couples therapy" which included breakfast and a bottle of champagne on arrival. It was a challenge to feel romantic in a tiny space of the room, although the bed itself was quite nice size and good quality. Forget taking a bubble bath together. The bathtub was half-a-meter long, it only takes one and only vertically, lol! oh, well, who cares about the room when the city is SO FANTASTIC!!!???

Just got back from a Copenhagen vacation and was very disappointed in this hotel. The rooms are TINY, the bathroom shower didn't have a full door so water got everywhere, their breakfast was inedible, and construction will wake you up at 6:30am every day. Oh forgot, their service was terrible, they acted like they hated you. Stay elsewhere.

Imperial is a first-class hotel in a great location for a quick stopover in Copenhagen. It's a couple of minutes by foot from the train station and Tivoli Gardens, and across the street from a local train station (Vesterport) that connects to Metro. Train to the airport from the main station takes 12 minutes. The room and public areas are spotless verging on luxurious and have that clean Scandinavian look. Our room had twin beds pushed together (common in Europe); not sure if they have true double beds. Beds were very soft. A bit of a hike from the elevator to our room since the hotel is huge. Room had coffee maker, expensive minibar, fine bathroom except for the odd Euro half-door on the shower, which inevitably gets the floor wet and does not provide privacy. Staff was helpful with local directions. We got a package with Tivoli tickets and breakfast included. The breakfast buffet is very good but is insanely expensive if not included with the room. There are more picturesque parts of Copenhagen but for a quick stop at a decent price in this very expensive city, the Imperial is a find.

The room was large for European standards and very well laid out. The location is wonderful for access to the train station, Tivoli, and the Town Hall. The breakfast buffet was great with a large selection. We would definately stay here again and recommend it to friends.
