If you have a room facing the quadrangle you will experience a lot of noise until 1 am or beyond, making a good night's sleep virtually impossible.

Beautiful location, next to Natural History Museum. Convenient for tube. Friendly staff on reception.Bedroom was basic, no TV or ensuite, but very clean. Bathroom across from bedroom was OK,shower reasonable. Breakfast at the Sherperd building across the road exceeded expectations, with fruit, full cooked selection, porrige, mackeral, eggs, croissants, toast, teas, coffee, hot chocolate and juices

The hotel is situated in an extremely nice location and was in walking distance from South kensington tube station. It was typical student accommodation, the beds were rock hard to sleep on and the showers were tiny, but the area was quite at night so there was no noise keeping you awake or bright street lights shining through the curtains.the location, cleanliness and friendly staff made up for the basic student nature of the accommodation.

Great hotel, great location in London. Was pleased by the room. Only thing: the water. Kitchens were locked 'for insurance purposes', so rooms had no drinking water. Water was available downstairs. But this was inadequate. Were advised we could drink the water out of the tap. But created a bad impression.

This is basic student accommodation (no TV) but the room, sheets and bathroom are clean and a full English breakfast in College is included. The Laterooms price is excellent value for this location.

Its a fantastic deal. Its 100m from the Albert Hall, need I say more! There is a great student union bar, with high quality bar food and cheap beer. There is no TV in the room, but that was not a problem, and it is a studenty hall of residence so don't expect a plush 5*experience. South Kensington, with its restaurants and bars, is a brisk 10 minute walk away. The museums (science, batural history and V&A) are also nearby. A great place to unwind after a day's work. Highly recommended.

For an en-suite room just by the Albert Hall £42 for B&B is excellent value. There are no frills and it is a bit of a walk in the open to breakfast but I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

The room had a sink (do not drink water sign! however a free water fountain is available near the front desk). I appreciated also the desk in the room with its desk lamp to work at night. Shared toilets at the end of the corridor perfectly clean. Only problem was door-closing noises at night since the door at the entry of the corridor emitted sharp noise at the end of its closing process. Huge breakfast. If you stay several nights, make sure to buy your £3.50 Bus Day passes downtown at a bus passes shop the day before, since they are not available at the bus stops in that neighborhood. Definitely a great place to stay and you wont find such a good value for money at £36 a night!

very basic as it is a student hall after all. It was clean, quiet and in a great location. |No TV in the room. good value for money.

Date of stay: 19-20 Sept 2008We wanted a good value bed overnight in the South Kensington area. I was at Imperial College many years ago, and so was attracted to Beit Hall out of interest and familiarity as well as its good price and location. After booking on LateRooms, I phoned the number provided to tell them about my wife's electric mobility scooter. The phone number was for the general Imperial College visitors' office, who deal with calls from all kinds of visitors, such as delegates to conferences. Other hotels have told us that they prefer being phoned before we arrive so that they can make sure that they keep us a suitably accessible room. The person who answered the phone on this occasion understood the issue and said they would arrange for us to have an accessible room. When we arrived, the very friendly reception staff did not seem to have been made aware of this. The room that had been allocated for us was on a landing not served by the lift. They quickly found us another room.We had booked one of the few twin en-suite rooms. The room was very large, comfortable single beds at opposite ends of the room and twin desks too, as you would expect in a university hall of residence. Everything was clean, except for some quite unpleasant matted hair in the wash-basin plug hole in the bathroom, possibly left there by the student occupants at the start of the summer break over two months previously.Breakfast was included in the price and was about 5 minutes walk away in a university refectory. There was a complete selection of hot \"Full English\" items as well as everything else you would expect - totally satisfactory, and of course very interesting for me to revisit buildings that were familiar so many years ago.Checking out took longer than in a normal hotel. The very friendly and helpful reception staff had other things to do as well, helping university visitors with their arrangements, setting up network connections and so on.Princes Gate is a quiet street ver

If your looking for just a room for the night that is comfortable, clean, and affordable you can't go wrong in staying here. The dinning area is a sort walk across the road to the main building but once there the food is more than adequate. You might like to know that this is a very busy student area but don't let this put you off, although family groups may find the experience a bit strange.

Excellent value for centre of London - £65 for a single en-suite. Room very clean and tidy. As previously noted, check-in can be a bit laborious, and you may have a short walk across the road to get to the canteen for breakfast, but these are minor quibbles. Having been staying in london 1 night a week for the past 4 months, in a variety of accommodation, I can honestly say that this has represented the best overall value of all the places I have stayed. Cheep beer in the hall bar - Grolsch for £2/pint. Wired internet access for £3/night. What more do you want!

Great value - but sparten and very basic - but this is a student digs being rented out during the summer. Clean, small, functional, just!

The main light in the bedroom was not working. Only the bedside lights were working. This made reading difficult. The room was spacious and clean. Overall, the hotel was good value for money and I would recommend it to friends. Very good location.

Very clean, well-kept and well managed. Perfect location near Hyde Park and just adjacent to Royal Albert Hall (views from some rooms). Towels, soap and shampoo, tea, coffee, water and snacks provided in room. Good quality cooked breakfast included. Great value for money.

B and B for £36 in London is a rarity. This student residence is right next to the Albert Hall (good for the Proms). Single room was comfy with en suite shower room. Good cooked breakfast eaten in the quad next morning. All clean, efficient and very good value.

Very good value considering the price and location. Yes it's hall of residence but it's quiet and clean. Well clean apart from the quadrangle part where rubbish collects from the night before. A quick litter pick up in the morning before breakfast would solve this.
