B&B IL CORTILETTOWell what a delightful little place! Situated just off the main street in the old part of town, this friendly & welcoming B&B is not to be missed. The owners are very friendly with English spoken well. Breakfasts are defintely worth the 3 Euros, with eat as much as you like served by a lovely lady who was very patient with our lack of Italian!!!Our room (twin with en-suite) was very well presented, clean and delightfully decorated with art work.We were free to use kitchen/self-catering facilities if we wanted & dine in the lovely outdoor courtyard.A short walk out of the building and down the alleyway onto the main street (via Garibaldi) brings you to an old town of small quiet bars and varied shops. Also, a lovely quiet beach is only 2 minutes walk away. I would definately recommend a trip up the mountain in the cable car to Erice (an old town).My 16 year old daughter and I were taking a short break in a new place where we were not fluent in the language and we never once felt unwelcomed or in danger. I would definately recommend both Il Cortiletto & Trapani as a holiday destination and would return again in a heartbeat.
