It was located in a very convenient place, staff was very friendly. The rooms allowed too much noise from the other guests into my room. There are single rooms in wings of the hotel that share a wood planked front porch and stairs. This can make these rooms noisy as you will hear others moving about. The rooms were very quaint and clean. There is no air conditioning in the rooms but the climate tends to be cool enough that you may not need it (unfortunately, I was there in July and it was over 100 degrees in Idyllwild). The cabins are more private and quiet. The cabins consist of a sitting room, kitchenette and bedroom. The TV is located in the sitting room (no watching TV in bed unless you use the roll-out sofa bed in the sitting room).

Great location to shops and restaurant. No air conditioning in the rooms for summer retreat. Quaint, quiet, nice fireplace in room, no blow dryer, no air.
