Description:
Hotel Klaustur is a 3 star hotel located mid-way between Myrdalsjokull and the largest glacier in Europe-Vatnajokull (260 km from Reykjavik city centre). Hotel Klaustur has 57 rooms on two floors. 36 standard rooms, of which 10 are single, 20 superior and one suite. All rooms are equipped with TV (local station) and bathtub or shower. The rooms on first floor only have showers. The hotel's pleasant restaurant seats as many as 150 people and there are smaller rooms in the hotel and a large conference room 30 meters from the hotel that is well suited for meetings, private parties and other gatherings. The swimming pool at Hotel Klaustur is open all summer and there is a golf course only 5 km from the hotel.
