I usually choose resorts, but I am glad I made this choice for me and my wife to make a quick trip up for the July 4 parade and fireworks. The room was nice, very clean and modern. Location was so convenient to all we wanted to do. No air, but fan in open window did the trick. 1 block from free tram up the mountain, but if you want to be downtown, I would highly recommend this hotel. Seems best suited for couples.
