clean, great breakfast, although they don't tell you during the reservation that you will pay an extra 50 Dirham for breakfast mandatory

You get what you pay for with this hotel. The cost is middle of the road and the quality is about the same. The staff was friendly. There is a computer with free internet in the lobby but only 1 for the hotel so there's usually someone using it and the connection is slow. The room in general was clean except for the floor. I'm never seen a floor covering like that anywhere. It was neither carpet nor linolium. I'd describe it as a "thick, fuzzy plastic". Whatever it was, it was sticky like a movie theatre floor to where I didn't want to walk around barefoot. The bed was fairly comfy but the pillows were well worn and overdue for replacement. I was quoted one price online and asked to pay a higher amount when I arrived but was curteously told this was for breakfast which turned out to be nothing spectacular but filling so I didn't mind the extra charge.

The hotel is in a perfect location--just a few steps from the Casa Voyageurs Train station, where trains arrive from places like Fez and Marrakesh. We just stayed for one night to catch an early flight the next day. It is convenient because the trains for the airport leave from this same station. The room was good sized and clean. The staff was very friendly! We didn't eat breakfast, but we had paninis in the bar, which were good and cheap. There is an outdoor garden area which was nice and relaxing.

Literally right next to Voyagers train station...which is the where the trains from marakesh drop you....and there is a train to the airport as well. Walked around a bit outside hotel but not much. Cab to Rick's cafe was around $5 US. Room was clean, had nice TV and comfortable bed.

Highly convenient! Unfortunately my stay at Ibis Moussafir coincided with major renovations. I given a room on the first floor, but refused it when I got off the elevator and found a pile of construction material and dust everywhere. There were the usual please excuse our dust signs, but honestly, who wants to have to walk through a construction zone to get to one's room? As I had been here a week earlier, I knew the 3rd floor was not undergoing any renovations yet, so I asked for and was promptly given a room on that floor. The only issue is that obviously the 3rd floor NEEDS renovations too! The room is obviously well cleaned by the house keepers, but the carpet is horribly stained. I requested extra towels to put down on the floor so I could walk and not get dirty feet. Seriously, that bad! I am sure once they are done with the renovations, the rooms will be very nice. The best feature of this hotel, in my opinion, is the lush tropical garden outside where you are free to take your buffet breakfast. So tranquil!

The hotel staff is very unfriendly and not helpful at all. They have an attitude that is totally unreal. The rooms are quite small and more than a little shabby. The location is not all that bad, but if it was the only place to stay then I would think about finding a bridge to bed down under.
