The Ibis Erfurt Ost is a basic 2-star hotel on the eastern outskirts of Erfurt and is an ideal base for your next business trip or relaxing break. The hotel is approximately, 20mins from Weimar, 9 Km from the exhibition centre, 10.5 Km from the airport and 5 Km from the city centre, which can easily be reached by bus in around 8 minutes. Since Germany's reunification, Erfurt is the city nearest to the geographical centre of the country. It lies in the southern part of the 'Thueringer Becken', within the valley of the River Gera. To the south, the city is surrounded by hills. The hotel was built in 1995 and offers 100 modern, inviting and comfortable rooms with modern amenities, furnished with light beech wood, and a functional bathroom. The hotel's bistro offers a choice of snacks and drinks all day. Wind down in the evening with a glass of beer or wine in the comfy lobby bar of the hotel.
