What are your breakfast options?: We have a restaurant at the hotel. Our restaurant times are 6:30 am - 10:30 am. It is $18 for Continental and $22 for full cooked buffet. We also have an All Day Menu available from 9:30 am - 10:00 pm. Average price for our meals is $15.00. As we are in the heart of Hamilton City, we are also surrounded by several cafes and restaurants, all within walking distance from the hotel.
Where can we dine?: At i-Bistro, we are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is from 6:30am-10:30am (11:00am on Saturday & Sunday). Continental Buffet costs $18.00, full Buffet $22.00. Lunch is from 11:00am, with bar style menu; prices range from $15-$20. Dinner is from 6:00pm until 10:00pm; it is a la carte, dine inside or alfresco on the balcony.
Have you renovated recently?: We opened in December 2007 and there have been no renovations or updates done since then.
What traveller type is most suited?: During the week, we get a lot of business travelers, and on the weekends, we get more families and couples coming into town for the weekend.
What transport is available to get around?: We are right in the CBD close to the shops etc. There are shuttles and taxis to the airport and we are within walking distance of the transport centre.
What can I do nearby?: In terms of entertainment, we do have the Skycity Casino 2 minutes away from us (walking distance). Inside Skycity, there is Laser Strike and Bowlevard Tenpin Bowling. Other than that, we have several other facilities such as Go Kart racing, paintball shooting, mini golf, etc. These, however, are at least 5 to 10 minutes' driving from the hotel.
As a family, what are the best things to do?: Most of the attractions are out of the CBD area. We are across the road for the shopping mall in town and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes in close proximity.
Do you have internet?: We do have internet available in our rooms at the hotel. Wi-fi costs $10 for 1 hour and broadband is $10 for 2 hours continuous usage. We do also have a 24-hour internet option available on request.
Do you provide parking?: We have limited valet parking at the hotel which is at a charge of $18 per night; this is secure parking underground.
What makes your hotel the best?: We are the only international hotel chain in Hamilton with a great central location and fantastic views over the Waikato River.
