Date of Stay: October, 2007

Booked x9 rooms for a weekend with staff. Arrived approx 2.40pm and was told only x3 rooms ready. Waited until 3.50pm for the final room to be serviced. Although inconvenient I would be happy to accept this if we were told how long we needed to wait and that our bags could be held if we wanted to go somewhere. Even a free drink / coffee would have been welcomed for the inconvenience. As I was slightly confused, I kindly asked the reception lady what time check-in was to be told it was 2pm, I then asked why we weren't in until almost 4pm to be met with a nasty reply that the Hotel was full and if I wanted to talk to someone about it she would find someone - perhaps I should have. The following day we were all out from 10am to 4pm. When we got back some rooms had been serviced and then some had not been, so for the ones that weren't these people had to go out again while this was being done. All in all a lovely place to stay but come on how about having more staff on to provide a better house keeping service.

I was very happy with the service & meals & room. All the staff were really friendly & helpful, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. It is in a great location, with shopping, theaters, museum & Art centre all within easy walking distance.

The room was a bit on the small side,realistically for one person. Very restricted space for two suit cases, but it was a nice, clean and tidy room/hotel

When we arrived at your hotel we were met by a very helpful and friendly receptionist and we felt at home straight away. As your location is right in the middle of everything, we couldn't have had a better stay in Chirstchurtch. We will recommend your hotel to all our friends visiting your beautiful city.

The Ibis Christchurch was centrally located in a beautiful city. The staff were very helpful and efficient we were able to checkin early and were given a late checkout, which made our stay that much more comfortable and gave us the comforts of the room just before our long flight home. I would diffinately stay at the Ibis Christchurch again
