Great room and great service! Wow...secluded, yet right in the heart of Scottsdale! Used the spa and was instant relaxation. Asked the front desk to fax a few documents and did so immediately. Ordered room service twice and very excellent service. Great deck with sun loungers and table for a place to eat my room service!

We arrived at the hotel to find it dusty and moldy and horribly out of date. Rooms were very small and smelled of heavy perfume that was sprayed to cover up the smell of mold that pervaded the hotel, its bedrooms, corridors etc. You couldn't even step into the room for the smell. We were told they had monsoons the week before and the roofs had badly leaked. The hotel should be torn down completely. This was supposed to be for our 45th wedding anniversary celebration. We went someplace else and gladly spent the money to do so.

We traveled around to the adjoining areas sight seeing which was good. Anything we needed was in or near the hotel. The Resort compared greatly with the best we've stayed in in Vegas or Hawaii with the exception of the cost of breakfast.

Beautiful grounds, up to date rooms, awesome get -a -way! There wasn't anything I didnt like! This was an awesome resort- The Pools here are unbelievable. There is a beach pool with sand and cabanas- very nice. The rooms are very up to date looking, modern and cool. Very happy stay! We loved every minute of it.

I was really surprised when we arrived into our room. We got the upgraded view (not worth the extra money-...a tree was blocking almost all of our window). The rooms are plain and old looking- almost 70's style. The entertainment in the lobby was great and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. The bars and patio are really nice as well. We love to order room service when we stay at hotels and were disappointed with the selections. The menu is very small. Overall we had a good time and we really enjoyed the outside scenery, but the rooms are not up to par.

This hotel is in a great location, right off of Scottsdale rd. 10 minutes from good places to eat and shop, but a must to rent car if you stay here. Our room never cooled off, but it was also almost 110 in the day and only got down to 85 at night in late June. Be ready to pay alot for food and drinks at hotel. Even around the pool the drinks and food are expensive.

Staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly smiling staff. We told the host that we were on our 8th honeymoon. We then spent the afternoon at the pool, which was crowded but reasonable. When we returned to our room, the hostess had sent a complimentary bottle of champagne and cheese plate to celebrate our anniversary! The resort is close to many restaurants if the on site ones do not sound appealing. It appeared that many people came to the resort who were not staying there to enjoy the pools and restaurants. It was a wonderful place to stay.

We booked 3 rooms at this hotel for 5 nights due to misleading advertising on the website on the kids program. We did enjoy our stay and the golf course is great, but the kids program was basically baby sitting with little excitement for the kids -- very very disappointing. Fortunately they were only there through lunch each day.

The guest service and professionalism was top notch. Couldn't stay longer. Beautiful scenery everywhere I looked. The details were well thought out and the room was designed with pure vision and integrity. The staff was always helpful and professional making each opportunity to help a warm and inviting one with smiles and willingness. The impression was a forever lasting one I will never forget.

Enjoyed every moment, service was top notch and the landscape was absolutely beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. The only complaint I would have was there was some maintenance going on outside our room and I feel the guests should be informed of that prior to the work.

This trip was a mommy-get-a-way for me and another girlfriend. The hotel was beautiful - the pictures don't lie. Staff was very friendly; we arrived early and they allowed us to do an early check-in and upgraded us to a room with an extended balcony over looking the pool. Great room! The pools were very nice; they had an adult only pool which was great for us since the kiddo's didn't tag a long. There were kids at the resort but not too many so it was nice. The lounge is beautiful to sit in at night. They had live music and a the back drop of the mountains was amazing. The food was a little over priced ($13 for pancakes - WOW!) We didn't rent a car since the hotel provided shuttles to the shops. We may not do that next time so we can do a little more site seeing. Over all it was a great place and will be going back for sure!

The hotel was fabulous, rooms were very clean, however, the air conditioning vent faced out towards our faces so whenever the air turned on in the middle of the night, it would hit our faces, keeping us cold, then when it turned off, the blankets kept us too warm. They need to change the configuration of the beds...

This hotel was fabulous and we heard from several frequent travelers to the area that it is the best place to stay in Scottsdale!! My daughter loved the pool, the sand side was very cool as well as the clock tower slide. Would definitely highly recommend!
