The room was very nice although the pillows were hard. The pool area was extremely relaxing. The hotel is a long walk (1-1.5 miles) or a ride (trolley, water taxi or regular taxi) from all the fun restaurants and entertainment. The Pelican restaurant on site which looked very interesting and had a nice long happy hour was closed two days while we were there so we never got to use it. There was no mention of this when we checked in. The grounds are immaculate and the food very good although a little expensive compared to the beach or downtown. Service was excellent. All employees always had a smile

We stayed at Pier 66 the night before we left on our cruise! We stayed in the tower and our view was fantastic! We could see the cruise ships coming and going! Our room was very spacious and comfortable. It is such a lovely area! We had a nice lunch in the pool area. Then we had a pleasant walk to the Pelican Landing and had a tasty meal there. It was so nice to sit outside and see all the yachts and the bridge going up and down! We also had a delicous buffet breakfast downstairs. My parents were with us and the hotel let us use a wheelchair for my mother. That was very helpful! Pier 66 is a little pricey, but it is well worth it!

We stayed in the hotel. Reading previous reviews, I was hesitant. I found the place to be awesome. The staff was friendly and the room was great. However, we did stay in the tower, so I can't speak for the garden rooms. It's not on the beach, but offers a great view of it, along with the pier. If you decide to go to the beach, they run a shuttle every hour.

I went to the beach out their Fort Lauderdale and South Beach which is like a thirty minute drive not bad. This hotel was great and i will stay here for my next visit.

Loved the room. I didn't like that I had to pay $19.00 for parking. Hotel was great I would stay there again soon.

The front desk and the view are the only positive things I can say about our stay. The light over the sinks didn't work and took 2 days to get repaired. The door bolt was hanging by 1 screw, and never did get fixed. After using the 4 coffee cups, they were never replenished. The room hadn't been vacuumed since the previous occupants, we found several items ( a bracelet charm, string etc.) that would certainly have been picked up had it been cleaned. And we were forced to check out early. We were asked what time we planned to check out, told them 11:00, as our flight wasn't until 2:30. We took our luggage to the car and went to breakfast. When we returned the room was stripped, the door was open and they were in the process of setting up for the next occupants. Never again!

The concierge gave me a room by the pool - awesome! Nothing. Priceline can sometimes be a surprise - whileI did ask for a hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach and got one that I had to drive to - I nonetheless enjoyed it very much.

Increadible location, the Pelican Landing bar overlooking the main channel is a great way to spend an afternoon watching the endless parade of yachts go by. The rooms were impecable, and the staff was really helpful.

The grounds and view from the rooms. Extra fee for parking. Refrigerators did not work.

Parking 12.00/day, resort fee 13.00/day the fact that they had no restaurant - pool - hot tub - of work out facility = priceless. What a dump; over priced, under construction, staffed by snobs who refuse to help you for anything. The main entrance was closed, the pool was closed and the restaurant they slapped together was in the hallway? And they call this a resort? Go to a Hampton - cleaner rooms better value and they do not hit you with all of these nickel and dime fees that really ad up over a weeks time! They charged me nearly 125 for parking and NO POOL or HOT TUB fees??? Of all of the Hyatt?s I have been to from Lahina to Puerta Vallarta to NYC this one is the Motel 6 of the family! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Great service from a very friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel is about a mile from the beach and restaurants. I would definitely stay at Pier Sixty Six again.

Front desk personnel were very helpful and responded to our needs. The lobby bartender was amusing and helpful. My son and I stayed the night before our cruise and the second night at the end of the cruise. We especially like the resort pool and common areas for cocktails and food. Easy access to the port and the airport was a bonus.

This hotel is NOT a 4-star. We stayed in a lower level Deluxe Lanai room which was renovated, but cold and uninviting in my opinion. Who wants tile floors in the bedroom? Bedrooms are supposed to be warm and cozy, not an accident waiting to happen on your way out of the shower. There was limited furniture to sit on. The hotel is very old, dark, gloomy and smells of mildew. Are you ready for this? I have worms in my room. Yes, crawling on the floor and the ceiling. The front desk manager offered us a room that was not renovated which had old carpet for 20.00 more per night. Are you kidding me? I called our travel agent and requested to be moved to nicer accomodations. Long story short, we were moved to a nicer hotel so we could enjoy the our stay without the unwanted critters.

Awesome hotel!!! I got to check in at 10am. Pool was very relaxing. Ocean front room was fantastic. Great location if your taking a Cruise...taxi ride $7. Shuttle to the beach was very useful. Taxi ride to airport cost $15-20.

The location was ideal for our cruise line connection and then for our final airline departure. Nothing. The interior decor is most soothing with the ocean blue and green colors. The simplicity of the furniture, bar, and decorating accents make it all very pleasing to the eye and inner peace of mind. Most relaxing after a memorable cruise in the Carribean aboard the Celebrity cruise lines.

Hotel staff was great. $24.00 a day and $11.00 for visitors for parking was not the best thing.

The boats. The pool was not heated and the hot tub was not hot! The rooms are kind ofold and the AC is loud in the room and that's drag!
