This one of the better hotels as far as location, quiet and clean that I've been too in a while.

I could not have afforded such a hotel without Priceline! I loved it!

have stayed 3 times the last year and all have been good. staff is attentive. especially front check in group. summertime it can be a little warm in the room but will cool off eventually. nice pleasant hotel with decent value for the money.

The Wichita Hyatt Regency is just a great hotel. The on-site parking is convenient and not that expensive. Rooms on the river view side offer a wonderful and relaxing view of the Arkansas River and points west. The staff was more than courteous and ready to help in any way. Many restaurants are within easy access. The airport is within 6 miles and the hotel offers free shuttle service.

I love the view from the hotel room. It overlooks the Arkansas river. The long walk from the parking garage to the elevators that take you to the rooms.

Our offer stated the room came with free internet and free parking. Seems like those should be included but, when we arrived we found out they weren't even included in our "special offer", let alone for everyone. We were expected to pay $10 a day for internet. You would think services that are offered for free in budget motels would be free in a Hyatt, but apparently not. What's worse is that due to the location, you don't really have a choice about the parking. There is no where else to park but, at the hotel garage. When we inquired about the apprant bait and switch regarding the internet, we were told they would look into it and call us right back. Never happened. We also noted there were dirty glasses (with rings) and the shower was dirty with spots. It's not that spots are a problem but, how do you clean a shower and leave spots? We can only assume that it never was cleaned from the prior guest. The breakfast buffet was a little over priced at $15, especially considering the far was pretty standard eggs, bacon, etc. It tasted very average. When we went to check out and voice our concerns about all of this, we were informed that we also had a FIFTEEN dollar charge for listening to the music on the T.V. While listening, it said it was a free trial for 5 minutes and there was a timer counting down the 5 minutes. Well at the end of the 5 minutes, it just charges you. No warning, no posted price, nothing. A total GOTCHA! charge. In the end they waived all the extra fees and we only had to pay for the room. But I will never go back.

This hotel had a beautiful view of the Arkansas River. The room was clean and nice. Great restaurants! Gander Mountain was walking distance from the hotel. We enjoyed walking along the river walk in the evening.

The location and ambiance. Pay to park. The location was great the room was very clean and overall it was a very pleasant stay.

"The Hotel was nice, very clean and had friendly staff. Biggest complaints involve add-on charges that are customary at other hotels, like internet service at $10/day, and parking between $8 and $12 /day. The hotel is in the heart of downtown activity, but there are no restaurants, gas stations or stores in close proximity."

Clean spacious room. Staff very courtious. Flat panel tv was a nice touch, however aspect ratio not adjustable with the generic remote was always full screen (normal tv is 4:3. full screen on a widescreen tv, everthing is fat & short). Breakfast buffet was marginal on taste and not worth the $15.00. Dinner was a simple club sandwich that was quite good.

Location. Restaurant menu, remote parking, extra charges for parking and internet. A nice clean high rise. The restaurant has a limited menu. Parking is quite a walk and expensive. The pool is cold. Bar drinks are very expensive. Internet in the room is an extra charge.A poor place for business, but if you walk in, negotiate a good rate, eat elsewhere and don't use any extras, it is fine.

"Hotel was very nice, clean and the staff was pleasant. When I book the room I specified non smoking and ended up having to take a smoking room because apparently there were no non smoking rooms available. Wasn't happy with the explanation. Room service meals were very small for the price."

Clean, comfortable, and spacy rooms. Great bed and firm mattress. Overall a good hotel, except for the fact that I had to pay for parking my car in the hotel garage.

It was quiet, secure, and had a wonderful view from our upper floor room! The free Q-line bus took us to Old Town. There was no free breakfast.

"EXCELLENT HOTEL! Connected to the Century II center making it easy to get from the hotel to the conference we attended. Hotel is immaculate and absolutely gorgeous. Our rooms were perfect. We tried the Southwinds restarant and the food was superb, if somewhat pricey. We are in Wichita often and will stay at the Hyatt again and again!"

The Hyatt is a wonderful place to stay. This is my 6th stay and each time is more relaxing. The beds are great! I left my glasses when I checked out and did not discover this until I got home. The security staff handled the matter promptly and I had them within a day. Location is good. No matter which direction you go, there is shopping and dining.

Beautiful room, nice view of the Arkansas river, good location for Old Town dining and entertainment.

I really loved the confines of the bed and the linens. I did not like that my bath tub was rusted out at the drain and faucets. I really felt nervous checking into this hotel because it was the nicest place I had ever stayed at. I was not even sure if I was dressed appropriately to even walk in there (jean Capri's and a shirt) but the gentleman at the counter, Orlando, was very kind and answered all my questions. I felt at ease immediately when I started talking with him.

The decor was gorgeous, view from the room very nice. Had hoped for a king bed, had to settle for two doubles. We had a very nice stay at the Hyatt. Everything about the hotel was a notch above other hotels we've stayed at. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were given breakfast vouchers when they were unable to secure us a king size bed. The beds were comfortable, hotel amenities were nice and breakfast was very tasty. I would definitely stay here again.
