Although we were only there one night the convient location permitted a short walk to the waterfront and a great restaurant. There is even a shopping mall attached to the hotel.

Great location. Spotless, spacious room with a balcony.

The staff and service was totally wonderful....provided whatever we needed within a moment's notice....even went out of their way to check on tours for us when they noticed we were waiting longer than expected. The bed was terrific...made me look forward to turning in....so relaxing. We had breakfast in the restaurant the first morning. While it was very good, we paid over $60, when we could have had an equally enjoyable breakfast at McDonalds (a few steps out the front door) for less than $10. Parking a car is difficult in downtown Vancouver, so expect to pay $28/day to house a rental car while there. All in all...a very enjoyable trip....

Overall..our stay in this hotel was pretty comfortable with some minor disappointments. The room was very nice and clean with a great view. Make sure to ask for a room on the higher floors to get a great view of the city. The beds were cozy and the bathroom was roomy...the towels smelled a little like bleach..somewhat unpleasant.. The only major complaint I have was the hot tub..he appeared dirty most of the time and the pool was freezing!! The location, however, was perfect and we would stay again if the pool heat were turned up and the hot tub problem were fixed.

Great location, good price for shopping, downtown tour and staffs were helpful but registeration gave us a wrong room selection: we were at first given 1 double bed instead of 1 double + 1 king double for a family of three; the second room was quiet noisy due to an access door connected to one of the rooms.

Great customer service & modern, attractive decor. Computerized check in/out. We had a great time. The room and staff exceeded our expectations despite the first impression of somewhat impersonal public spaces. We stayed at the hotel on Prom night but were blissfully unaware of any teenage merry making.

Great downtown location. Rooms were quiet and does not hear neighboring room's noise. Good security system, only guests with room door cards can activate the elevators.

Our first time to Vancouver and we wanted to see all we could in a short time. The staff worked with us to get that accomplished. Lots of things to see, do and good eats within walking distance and in hotel. Tours redily available, booked within the hotel. Beautiful scenery all around.

Excellent check in staff and awesome location. Very comfortable rooms.

Origionally booked at the Le Soleil....a boutique hotel in Yaletown. Very nice, but small. No balcvony available so we moved to the Hyatt. Absolutely breattaking. Beautiful rooms and the balcony was huge! Service excellant, would stay again and again.

The room was large and clean, and the design lovely, however I thought it was overpriced. Not only is the room expensive but you have to pay fees that are ridiculously high to use the internet either in-room or in the business center. Also, the shower head is in the middle of the ceiling over the tub, which is awkward.

Convenient downtown location as jump out night before heading to cruise ship. Very nice hotel.

The color was great. Really bad paint job. The public area was not most clean or polished. The sheet were not nicely folded, dirty spots, bathroom was prepared for one person . I was disappointed because they staff was not alert and it was hard to communicate to them. They charged us 3 phone calls local ones that did not even go through. We asked them to remove from the bill, they did not apologize for it. The door is very small and there were enough shower items for two even though there were two beds. The white shower curtain was not clean. One of the rooms we had smelled funny. The room was just a little bit small.

If it was a 3 star hotel it would be perfect, but from Hyatt I expected more. Granted, I got really got deal - it did cost me as a 3 star hotel. It has a great location in the heart of downtown, but rooms need upgrade. The TV is small and old, there is some rust in bathroom. When booking keep in mind that parking is not free - it adds another 24 CD to your room rate.

While we were there we visited many friends, and toured in the city.

Great location andgreat interior design of rooms. The gym and fitness areawas nice but outdated. The hotel has an overall business feel to it, however, it was great for a leisure traveler. The nearby restaurants and shops were upscale and within walking distance to all of downtown Vancouver's main neighborhoods and shopping. The rooms were modern and reflect the city of Vancouver.

Staying on vacation for 3 nights at Hyatt Regency was a great experience because it is on many shuttle/tour routes. The rooms are spacious and modern and clean. The staff was courteous and professional. The only minor drawback was that the "heated pool" wasn't heated while we were there.
