There are many activities on site, including kayaking, a nice pool and beach, and a decent gym. The grounds were well kept and attractive. A tour guide is located on site (though most of the brochures are in Japanese). However, if you rent a car, most of the WWII historical sites and eco-tourism sites are a short drive away. The room was very comfortable and the view was great. There is a large variety of local and asian restaurants close by, with the american restaurants a little further away, but still in walking distance. All the food I tried at the hotel was good and the service staff was very friendly and helpful.
