I had the opportunity to spend two days at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento and it was, by far, the best hotel experience I have ever had. Though I had initially been booked for (1) night, I enjoyed it so much that I stayed an additional night. In addition to the hotel being extremely clean, the varied amenities that were provided made me feel as though I had never left home. And, the Hyatt staff was simply superb. I would strongly suggest, if you plan to spend any time in Sacramento, that you consider the Hyatt Regency. You get precisely what you pay for and then some. Joan S. (Los Angeles, CA)

Hotel is very close to capital and the cathedral - all in walking distance. Convenient for business purposes. Lots of nearby restaurants and shopping. Hotel staff was very friendly. Restaurant staff was terrific. Food was good. I had view of the capital which was nice. Concierge was available all day. There was even coffee and someone to get cabs at 4am. The meeting rooms were very comfortable. The meeting staff was attentive and the food presentation was really great. Worth the extra money if you are looking for a downtown location. Seems like a nice place to stay even if you're not on business.

Location. No hot water in the morning for showers. Bed was uncomfortable. Nice hotel, but not worth the hotel money.

Room was nice, not a luxury hotel , but roomy and clean. The dinner restaurant was wonderful, had dinner there both nights, our waiter Michel, was fantastic. Old world service, took time to answer questions, and remembered what wine we wanted and our cocktail order the next night. Very professional and the food was very good. Housekeeping staff very accomodating in bringing requested robes and extra towels right away and room service was prompt. Only downer was the breakfast buffet, the eggs were not good at all, but the service was very pleasant.

I got to hotel about 6:30 pm Saturday night, only ONE person was working in front desk for check-in and answer questions and take care the in coming phone. I stood for about 20 minutes before I checked in. I traveled a lot and stayed many hotels. The best of this hotel is its location and the view (from my room) of the capital.

The front desk staff are rude and inconsiderate. The parking fees are the worst hidden rip-off I have ever seen.First of all, this hotel is in a prime location. The beds were very comfortable. We had a club level room with an amazing view. They said it was a non-smoking room, but there is a sign that there is a cleaning fee for smokers.When I got to the front desk, the check in process was swift and friendly. However, when I reached the room, it was a single king instead of two beds. I returned to the front desk to report the problem, and they got me a room with two beds. The valet parking staff were prompt and curteous. But, on the second night I decided to valet park to be able to get to my early morning flight. I asked the front desk to validate my parking ticket and the man at the front desk yelled, "we don't validate parking here". And I said, "but, I am a guest". After indicating which room I was in he fired back "you have selected valet parking!" I felt like this guy we being deliberately rude, so I returned to my room.The next morning I saw the bill. I was charged a 25 dollar fee per day for valet parking and another 17 dollars for self-parking! Two parking fees in one day??? I told the same rude person at the desk that I was being ripped off, and he said he would remove the valet charge. As I left this horrible hotel, I gave my unvalidated ticket to the parking attendant. He charged me 17!!!!

There were a lot of high school kids at the hotel for a conference but the hotel staff and the program staff were very helpful in ensuring that the kids were well behaved and did not interfere with my stay

A wedding party erupted into an hysterial wife screaming and crying for an hour outside our room and security was unable to handle the situation. There was also a situation on another floor. Unless they patrol/respond better, this very nice hotel risks its reputation.

The Hyatt Regency Sacramento had the best staff. They were all very helpful. We had a great stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

The hotel had recently been updated. Beautiful rooms, great bathroom. Loved it. Made Priceline well worth while. There was nothing to dislike about this hotel or location. Staff was extra friendly.

With a the terrible Front Desk staff, dingy rooms, housekeeping that does a poor job and management that don't call back for five hours, this is not just one of the worst Hyatt properties, it's among the worst in Sacramento. Even as a Hyatt Gold Passport Platinum member, the service is poor. I can't imagine how poor the experience is for others.

The room was huge- dining room - for poker i presume, a kitchette - the gathering room - which has the bed-- the bed seemed to the be least significant piece of furniture as it was dwarfed by the size of the room and the couches, chairs, etc-- The suite also had a balcony which was on the front - main street side of the building. IT's a pretty view of the capital however was noisy very early in the morning.

Even though the fitness center was not inside the hotel it was good place to work out. Did not provide enough towels, tea or glasses for two people on second day. Overall I enjoyed the stay. It was quiet and comfortable even though there was a prom, a marathon and a wedding.

The Hyatt Regency is a very nice hotel. It was clean. The soap was Ginger and Green Tea and smelled delicious. I appreciated the current magazine indoors and the newspaper in the mornin in front of the door. Great service.

Very nice, centrally located and very comfortable. No comment. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff was very helpful and professional. At check-in I was asked what type of room I would like and was given a superior location than expected. Hotel was very clean. Wait staff at the hotel lounge was very nice and attentive. Room was very clean with nice amentities.
