The staff was very kind. Granted us a late check out when we asked. However, other guests were noisy and slamming doors at around 9:30 for a half hour or so.

Room was very nice but everything was extra. Phone calls, pay TV and internet service. Pool, jacuzzi and exercise room were secluded, that was nice.

This hotel is simply said, a disaster. This was my second visit here only because I have a child at Eastman. This visit was no better than the first. Upon arrival I was told my room guarantee really didn't guarantee anything and they were out of rooms with 2 double beds. They offered me a king room with a ROLLAWAY! Who would sleep on a rollaway? When I arrived at the airport there was no answer for several calls and several minutes at the hotel when I tried to ask for a shuttle to pick me up. I ended up paying $30 for a taxi. The girl named courtney at the desk was rude and unhelpful. There is no service here. I was dropped off and had to carry my bag up 10 steps to get to the lobby. No bell captain was to be seen. I called for a taxi back to the hotel and the concierge gave me the number of the taxi company rather than call for me. The room was not even cleaned, The bed was still rumpled on the second day they just pulled up the comforter and threw some new towels in the bins. I wish there was a better option for parents of eastman students. If you know of a better place to stay in rochester near eastman please comment.

I parked my car in the valet circle where no one was there to assist. I had to run inside and was too heated to ask for help and just asked where the parking garage was... there was no bellman in sight what-so-ever. Two fat women with horrible work ethic or etiquette were there to answer my questions. They were however more involved in the fun they were having behind the counter than helping my fiance & I. Before we ever booked the hotel, we went in to get information [personally] and were never called back 3 times like we'd been promised. I had to harass them to book my stay. RIDICULOUS. I will not recommend this place or stay here again. I can't even believe this is supposedly the "best stay in Rochester." I have; heard many horrible reviews I'm telling you-if you are looking for an expensive LOOKING hotel, then stay here... if you are also looking to be treated like you're staying in an expensive hotel, keep researching hotels because this is NOT for you.

We had a suite... the staff was great! Nice Family get a way!

We had a suite on the river side that had a dirty shirt on the back of the bathroom door and dirty underwear under the bed. Speaking of the bed (which was a hide away) was made of rubber and was hard as a rock. This is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever spent the night in. Do not stay here, the Clarion Riverside is across the street and has the best rooms in Rochester.

I liked how the parking garage was attached to the hotel. Bathroom was a bit small. Very pleased overall. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet.

I stayed at the Hyatt for two days when my flight was cancelled. The staff was super friendly. I'm from Florida and didn't know anything about the area. X who tends the bar in the evening had some really good ideas for things to do in the surrounding area. The only gripe I would have is that the motor in the hot tub was broken. You could still get into it. Anyway it was a nice hotel and I would stay again.

If you are visiting one of the companies downtown or want a weekend away, this is a great choice.

Very quiet, comfortable and elegant. Housekeeping was extremely slow. A very nice Hyatt Hotel in downtown Rochester. The rooms were well appointed but the bathroom noted some wear and tear. I would stay there again.

Had to carry luggage from parking lot into hotel before we saw any bellmen. Only then could we get assistance with luggage. Why bother - we had already carried it most of the way. Also - bed was sloppily made each morning.

Front desk reception person gets high customer service points! Room service attendant poured my 1st cup of coffee very nice touch! Room did not illuminate many areas of the room dark spaces/low wattage. Outlet for iron was not convienent (we could only find one in bathroom). Overall this was a great hotel stay. Service was very hospitable, room was clean even in the small areas that are usually overlooked. The elevator on the other hand, was in need of some cleaning. I noticed that the metal surfaces had dried splashes of something and prints all over it. I observed this in the morning. They did not look crisp and clean.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel overnight in April. The front desk staff (actually all the hotel personnel we dealt with) were extremely courteous and helpful. The room itself was very nice, extremely clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We ordered room service and the food was great and tastefully presented. The breakfast buffet was delicious also. We would definitely stay here again.

Great deal on Priceline.com; better price than any other website. Of course I bid the price that I wanted to pay and it was accepted!

It is close to the courthouse. The area where it is located (downtown Rochester) is deserted after 6:00 pm. This is a very nice Hyatt Regency hotel. Unfortunately, it is located in downtown Rochester, an area that is sparsely populated during the workday, and deserted after 6:00 pm and on weekends. However, the hotel is conveniently located for those attending an event in the Convention Center, and heading for either the state or the federal courthouse, both of which are about 2 blocks away.

"My stay at this hotel was great! The room was spotless. The staff was extra friendly, food service and dining was exceptionial!!"

The location. The food was horrible, the service was bad. This property has gradually declined since it's opening. I was disgusted with the lack of a restaurant. The restaurant, The Palladio, used to be a separate area of the hotel. Now, they have merely set up a dozen or so tables near the bard and pass that off as a restaurant. The service was slow the food was terrible and very overpriced, especially the breakfast buffet.
