Fresh air. Waited long time at bar to be served, bar tenders not very attentive.

stayed here in Feb '09. we got a deal off of travel website, do not recommend. apparently, they have a section of the hotel for these type of deals. the hotel itself is beautiful. however, after checkin we were pointed up a staircase to an area that looked completely different from the rest of the hotel. after hauling our bags up the stairs, we opened the door to find a small room. wrappers left on the table from the last guests. our towels although clean, appeared stained. no fitted sheet on the bed, just a pad and flat sheet. parking $20- we were only there 8 hours. internet $10/day. I guess you get what you pay for! (we would have left, but our flight was late and we didnt get there til 2:00 AM.)

We stayed overnight after arriving at the airport in the evening. The hotel is beautiful and the room was exceptionally well decorated and maintained. However, the cost for food was outrageous. In there deli/shop, a Nestle ice-cream sandwich was almost with tax which was worse than the lowest cost of a sandwixh at . The complinemtary shuttle from the airport was what attracted us and since I had read that it was very costly to eat breakfast there, we had taken breakfast food with us.

Excellent hotel, just not near downtown.

Staff wasvery responsive. Room waswell decorated and arranged. Directions to get to transport shuttle at airport confusing.

This hotel's amenities and service were excellent, as I expected based on my experience at other Hyatt Regency hotels. But, I didn't get a good night's sleep any of the nights I stayed, due to the roar of planes overhead. I expected a hotel of Hyatt's class to either have better soundproofing or a white noise generator in the rooms to prevent this sort of thing.I stayed here to save some , figuring I could take the train into downtown every day. While the station was about 3-4 blocks away (not too far), the train (Blue Line) took between 1 hour and 1 hr 45 min. to get to the Loop. There were many, many stops and it was slow as molasses. Not a good place to stay if you plan to commute to downtown, unless you bring earplugs and are prepared to spend several hours a day commuting.

Considering I need to sleep, I got little becuase of the noise from landing and departing planes. Breakfast was over priced.

Location and staff were very good. Parking fee. Nice hotel that met how it was promoted. Would be happy to stay there again.

The only thing I think they need to offer is a refrigerator for their athletes who go for the bodybuilding show. The food is too expensive.

the hotel is very nice..excellent rooms..BUT...they do not make you aware of hidden charges...20.00 a night to SELF park...a breakfast listed on the room service menu at 12.50... ended up being 26.50 by the time it was delivered...

The closeness to the airport and train lines. The food choices/prices in the bar (13 dollars for a hamburger is too much).

This hotel was pretty nice. The rooms were clean. The lobby had sylish furniture. However, I was pretty miffed to discover that parking was 17/day and internet was 10/day. Those are two things that I'd come to accept as usually included in the price. They also tried to charge me for using items from the mini-bar despite the fact that room service hadn't entered my room since I had checked in. Luckily they removed the charges without much of a fight. If you want to save some coin on parking, there's a CTA lot not far away that was 3 per 15 hours I think.

The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The only problem is that you could hear the loud flushing of the toilet from other rooms/floors. The receptionist were not very friendly, the one who attended to me.

Nice, comfy beds. Good water pressure. Overpriced food, mini bar, and parking.

This was a great place to stay and it is close to the airport. Its also in a fairly nice area and parking wasn't to bad $20.00 per night.

Absolutely no explanation on how to get there from the airport - The people on the phones gave inaccurate, basic, useless information on getting the shuttle bus. SO it is a $10 cab ride, unfortunately. If you plan to take the train into the city, it is about 1/2 mile walk to the station and at this time (July 12, 2009) the tracks are being worked on, so it took about 2 hours to the loop. Cab ride is about $60 so it may make sense to spend the extra $50 a night and be downtown. Otherwise the hotel was OK. I have found that all early Hyatt Hotels have bizarre floor plans. This one is no exception and would be a disaster in a fire as people would never find their way out. This site looks liked they designed the hotel as they went along, and changed their minds many times. The overall style and look of this Hyatt is a great example of ugly.

Very open architecture, room was decorated well. Scanner was very poor at the on site business center (FedEx/Kinkos).
