We got in late because of delays and the staff was nice and accommodating upon arrival. It was great! Check in was easy and the room was a joy to stay in for the weekend!!

Loved the room, large, clean and stylish. Would have like complementary internet access.

Overall the room was not that good. The interior of the room was pretty good but the surroundings were lacking. We were on the fifth floor but there was noise from the lobby because of the open atrium. We could also hear the TV next door and street noise, so the sound proofing is not very good. On top of that, the exterior of the hotel is being refurbished. We had ropes from the scaffolding hanging in front of our windows and at one point the workers came by our windows. Fortunately we brought a white noise machine to block out the noise. If we hadn't had the white noise machine or if we had been staying for more than one night, we would have asked for a different room on a higher floor. Several times we had extremely long waits for an elevator. There are only four elevators for the nearly 500 rooms in an eighteen floor building! The elevators are only average size, so if there is luggage, not that many people can get in. We went to Sarah's Pantry, the carry out cafe in the lobby. The service was slow and disorganized. We did not spend any time in the area around the hotel. It is near large arenas, auditoriums, and parking ramps. If you aren?t going to one of the large venues, there did not appear to be a lot of things to do nearby. The parking is also not that great, see the Tip section for information on parking.

Stayed here one night simply to sleep. No other activities. GIANT atrium with massive drop so if you've got little kids you might request a room on a low floor. A little surprised about checkout however. Only one clerk at the reception area at 9:00am??? For hotel with this many rooms they really need more help at peak check in/out times. Took a little longer to check out than it should have. Otherwise very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is set up in such a way that every room can hear the activity in the conference lobby. So if you are there and there is a major conference on that goes late you will hear it! We were kept up until 1:00am! The hotel looks very nice - is very modern, nicely decorated and very clean - but the sheets didn't even fit the bed - we fought with them all night. Great breakfast and coffee in Bistro 333.

Arrived for check in and was told since I used a 3rd party vendor and not their website that they were allowed to give my PAID room away and they didnt have to tell me or have any suggestions where to go. Was then told by valet to move my car since I wasnt staying there. Elevators are all broken, stairway is suspect to say the very very least. Was checked out the next morning I didnt argue I just left because the bathroom was filthy with no light, The entire room and air system smelled of very very heavy smoke in a non smoking room. Worst experience ever. Do not stay under any circumstance. If you can get in the pfister do it, if not stay in brookfield.

The hotel was in a great location that is surrounded by restaurants, shops and other fun-to-do activities. The hotel staff was pretty informed and they were willing to call ahead and confirm plans for us. The only things that the hotel lacked were a pool and fast cleaning staff. It took until 3pm before some one cleaned up our room.

Beautifully remodeled. I stayed here last year and it was nice. Now it's magnificent! 16 dollar overnight parking. I would look for a different garage. This has got to be the best hotel for the money in downtown Milwaukee. We were in town for a concert on a Thursday night. We decided to stay the night on that morning and named our own price and got the room for a very low rate. It was just awesome!

Hotel was having a grand re-opening party. No shower curtain in bath when I first checked in. The hotel was having a party to celebrate their re-opening. They had free prime rib, shrimp cocktails, sushi and drinks for all the guests! Hotel was great. Room didn't have shower curtain when I first checked in but housekeeping came right away when I called. They also had new flat screen TVs that you can connect your computer to.

After a long flight with many delays, etc. we arrived at this hotel for a business conference only to find our rooms had been given to other customers - even though we had called to inform them of a late arrival!! We were told this is their common practice to be sure all their rooms are full each night and it made no difference that we were attendees of the conference held at their facility. We were shuttled to another hotel a few blocks away for 3 hours of sleep and then told to bring back our luggage to leave with the bellman with the hopes of getting rooms for the remainder of our stay. The rooms were nothing special and definately need updating - especially the bathroom. I wouldn't stay here again for fear of our rooms being given away.

The hotel has been recently renovated. The lobby and rooms are very nice. The location is great - by the river - close to good restaurants and things to do. The only complaint was that there was a wedding the night we stayed there which was extremely noisy and kept us from sleeping even though we were on the 6th floor. There atrium style means that you hear any loud lobby noise.

Great bartender, gave me hot wasabi peas and olives for free. No pool. Great soap/toiletries in the bathroom. Disappointed by the one-cup coffeemaker with only one creamer/sugar. Disappointed that there wasn't a pool (or even a hot tub, apparently). Really nice staff, but weirded out by how they always said they were at your service and repeated my name a lot.
