My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Miami during our recent vacation. We were very impressed by the hotel's appearance. The lobby was beautifully decorated, and our room was nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the hotel's location. It was central to all the places we wanted to visit (i.e., shopping, restaurants, South Beach). It even had a car rental company in the lobby. Very convenient!

Huge rooms. Long walk from parking to hotel lobby and elevators. This is a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms. Just a short drive to downtown or South Beach.

The Hotel was very good, accessible and very very confortable and clean.The room was impecable. Personnel was very attentive. The restaurant service ver very good, If there is an oportunity, the cleaning personnel can clean the plants in front of the elvators in the 8th floor. But I expect to be back on my next short vacation. The coffee was outstanding.

This may not be a 5 star hotel, but it certainly offers comfort in what I consider the perfect location in Miami. Staying in Downtown Miami allows you to be in a central point with easy access to Beaches, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables and up north via I-95 which is right next to it. Only 15 mins away from the airport... perfect for a quick trip to Miami, when what matters is to make the most of your time. Great price for what you really get.

Parking was $12.95/day in adjacent parking garage; make sure you get hotel parking validation; wireless internet access is via T-Mobile (aka $9.95/day). Hotel pool and gym were both small. Room design grew on me by 3rd day. Housekeeping lady somehow managed to always leave a long hair behind. Since the hotel is joined to the Knight Center, the metro (in and outer loop) are convenient and free --take the metro to the Bayside Market Place (Chili's, Hooters and Bubba Gumps and other restaurants are there). Bed comfortable and towels OK. Other reviews mentioned mold; I did not notice horrid mold odor. Overall impression: I would not stay at this hotel due to the parking and internet costs.

The hotel has excellent service and top notch environment. The only thing was the $30.00 a day charge for parking my car. I wouldn't mind, if this was told to me before I arrived. I was able to check in two hours earlier and throughout my stay, everything was perfect. I will only stay here when I go to Miami. Great location for everything.

The hotel was excellent, I love the hotel room, bar, lobby, staff, and etc. The hotel was excellent. The hotel rooms was beautiful and comfortable, the bar and food was great,the lobby was like walking into a dream. The staff and people were great. This was an excellent experience. I would recommend everyone to use priceline.com when needing a hotel.

Stayed at the hotel one night before a cruise there were 4 of us. I thought the hotel was very pricy and had nothing special to offer. Very clean but had to call for extra towels and a roll away. When I had called for extra items which should have been in the room the staff expected a tip, sorry these should have been in the room already, they were ordered when reservations were made. Had a view of the construction next door, ask for a bay view if you can. With the hotel along the water it was a very nice 10 minute walk to famous restaurants, shops and live music. Went to the lounge in the evening for a drink, again very pricy. Not sure if I would stay again. If your looking for clean and quiet that's the place you want to be. Just be aware of price. Oh almost forgot, the pool is very, very small and no jacuzzi.

On my honeymoon, we showed up after a long day of travel, just looking to crash... the front desk was not cordial, but stayed on the phone without acknowledging me. For the price I paid, the service should have been better. The construction wasn't bad at all, but the food from the restaurant was pitiful and the prices were high. There wasn't any room service at night and no other options for food (once again, the front desk was no help here). So overall, we had a bad experience. Nice place, poor service. They lost my business.

Nice hotel overall. The lights were too dark. Stuff sent us to some dedicated clubs which were not the best. This hotel is nice. Valet parking is pricey for $29/day. There is a nice harbor marketplace near by with a bunch of restaurants but the stuff is trying to send you to Tobacco road or Blue Martini. Don't listen to them. Itis safe to walk there. Harbor marketplace is a nice place to walk to.

Overall this is a terrific hotel. The location in downtown Miami can't be beat - placing you in walking distance to dozens of downtown sights like Bayside (which is like Baltimore's Inner Harbor). Self parking is the way to go, unless you like paying $30 for valet. The rooms are well kept and not yet dated. The challenge is that you're in a 24 story hotel and there's only 5 elevators. Wait times can take more than 5 minutes, especially when cruise tours are checking out.

I've been here before albeit a while ago. I was even forewarned of the 20 million upgrade underway but I was unprepared for the overall rundown condition of the room. Stained wallpaper, floors, black stained grout along tub and filthy glass made me demand a cleaner room. I was met with a VERY personable voice who apologized and asked that I check a room on the 19th floor which he was sure would be to my liking. While a nicer room with some upgrades, the wallpaper and grout stains still remained. Oh well, it was midnight now and I did not desire to find another place this late. I really hoped to extend my stay a few days but decided it better to simply come back in a few months when some of the dust had settled. Will I be back, ... YES! And by the way, be sure to take in the Breakfast Buffet which was fantastic!!! The service staff, selection of items and the cleanliness of the dining room was perfect. Overall, the hotel should be proud of all staff members as I found not one who was unwilling to go the extra mile to assure my stay was a pleasant one.

This hotel is smack dab in the middle of homeless central and the construction haven. Everything closed early except the skaters trying to perfect their skills on the curbs. The hotel staff was super nice. When we wanted to take a walk, they told us which way to go to stay away from the herds of homeless people in one of the directions. The internet service in the room didn't work, so the staff told me to go into the office area near the gift store - which of course cost more money! The restaurant menu mimics the room service menu (prices and all) so why not order room service and not have to get dressed up. Since there are no other options in the vicinity. The pool is small is in the shade all day long and right next to a noisy off ramp. Security is great, you need your door key to go to your floor or to the pool.

Ease of check-in and check-out. We checked in very late at night. On arrival, the desk clerk upgraded us to a suite at no additional charge. Very nice room.

hotel ok.nothing special.first room they gave as was smoker.second room i had to call front desk coz tv was not working.cost of parking is high.we spent 80 bucks on parking in two days.

It's not fair to blame the Hyatt, but Miami is under siege in the construction department. We thought it would be nice to overlook the drawbridge and river, so requested that side. Big mistake. Workers pounding away all over downtown from 6AM to 9PM. Drawbridge horns going off constantly. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom dingy. Broken tiles, moldy caulk, broken lav sink. Flight check in computer a plus! Pool nice. Drawback to 4 star? Everything costs extra and you start to resent it. But overall a decent stay.

the hotel was wonderful,not quit what i expected the pool to be though,looks bigger in picture.also parking is not even provided by hotel and it's very expensive to park at the available parking lot
