Excellent downtown location. Although the lobby was nice, the room was small, and had an old, retro-fitted feel. Wasn't a typical Hyatt. Expensive parkiing - comparable to downtown Chicago. LONG waits for elevators, every time. Did not eat at the restaruant onsite - many good choices within walking distance.

Convenience of check in & check out. Pay for Internet! Are you kidding? Nice sized, well appointed room.

From the moment of arrival to the moment of departure the Hyatt made every possible customer service mistake. The valets provided incorrect information about parking. Checked in using the kiosk and was told my card would not be charged - this was incorrect it was charged, twice. The pool and hot tub were closed and we were never told. The concierge was never at their desk. When the front desk was called no one answered. When asking for maps none could be provided. Now a day later I find my credit card has been charged twice to a card I only used to reserve the room and once to the card I used to pay. I have paid for the room THREE TIMES. When I called the Hyatt they said it would take up to five days to correct this mistake. DO NOT STAY here under any circumstances. The Hyatt failed to deliver on any of its promises and I will never stay at a Hyatt again.

Hotel very convenient to our meeting held at the Convention Center. Could access all meetings without going outside. Initial impression of hotel at check in was very negative. Entered for Valet Parking. The Valet was so busy talking with a group of young ladies that he totally ignored us after completing initial paperwork for Valet Parking. We finally found a cart, and as we were completing unloading our luggage, the guy decided he would help - naturally, we assumed it was for the tip. Then, somehow he got lost again, and we were left to get our luggage to our room alone. As we were getting on the elevator, he showed up again, and stated he had to go with the cart. Would suggest that this upscale hotel be more alert to having attendants available for guest check-in. I observed several other guests through the week carting their own luggage to their rooms. Hotel seems to be in the process of automating all procedures -- check - in, etc., and very little staff interaction was experienced. Room was adequate and clean, however, one in our party had a room with malfunctioning air conditioning, and, although the front desk was advised and the problem was checked out, the room never was comfortably cool. Upon check out, we had to find a cart and take our own luggage to our van that was brought around by a valet. Obviously, we saved money on tips. Internet connection for 10 a day was rather pricey, and Valet Parking at 25 a day seemed steep. In the future, I think we will forego the upscale hotels that charge for every added service, for those who offer free internet, free breakfast, and free parking.

The Hyatt was located right in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. It's nice to stay at a hotel within walking distance of so much. The decor was superb and the staff was very helpful. I just didn't like the pool but that's minor. We really didn't have time anyhow.

Friendly staff. Small rooms and room service tray left out in hall our entire stay.

I had reservations, but due to an error by my secretary, I was booked two days earlier and the hotel had sold my room. They did call another Hyatt 10 miles away from conference and got me a room. My car had already been valeted and had to be returned. Hotel vaived fee. Noticed later that remote control had been stolen. I am certain it was done while in valet possession. The manager just thanked me for the report.

We came in to town to see the Colts play, our entire stay at the Hyatt Regency was wonderful. We were greeted by a very friendly staff. The hotel is convienient to evrything, it is attached to a great shopping mall and there are several nice resteraunts with in walking distance. The staff was very helpful and very quick to cater to any need we had.The hotel was very clean and our room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. We will definatly stay here again.

We had a great time. The TV was out, but we let the front desk know after we left for an evening and it was fixed when we got back. Check out was supposed to be easy, off the TV, voicemail or a computer in the lobby. We had to check out with a person to ensure that valet was included in our charge. Other than that, it was spectacular. It's attached to National City Bank, has three hotel eateries and the bank side has Subway and McDonalds attached off the lobby. It is really convenient to Circle City Mall too!

The hotel facilities, staff , location and overall ambiance was excellent. Parking however was very expensive per day however valet allowed in and out and extra hours at checkout.

Over all the hotel was very nice. The lobby has been remodeled and so have the rooms. The bathroom in our non smkoing room didn't have a fan so the mirror got quite steamy and the shower had a musty odor as if the ceiling tiles had some mold. Room service breakfast was on time with friendly service but the side plate of bacon was not worth *. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was adequate but overpriced for what the buffet offered. But, right inside the hotel there are fast food alternatives to the expensive hotel owned restaurants. Location was great, but parking in the hotel underground lot for two nights cost *. Perhaps we missed some sort of parking discount for guests, but I did ask at the front desk and was not given any information. At the hotel across the street the room key gave access to and from the lot, not so with the Hyatt. Staff friendliness and service were excellent.

The Hyatt was not worth money we paid. Their valet parking was extremely difficult to recognize, they do not offer free wireless internet, they gave us the wrong laptop bag at checkout, and the staff was not very friendly.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and located in an excellent part of the City. The staff was unbelievably friendly. Our room was spotless. The service was extremely professional. The hotel was one of the highlights of our stay in Indianapolis. My husband had worked at the Westin but because the price was better at the Hyatt Regency, we stayed there. He was very pleasantly surprised by our hotel (which had a view of the Westin by the way) and thought our hotel was comparable.

The hotel was in an excellent location and was connected to the mall by sky walk which allows you to walk throughout downtown Indy. The Hyatt Downtown Indy was a beautiful hotel in a great location. It was close to many recreation and business facilities within walking distance. Numerous restaurants were in the lobby and within a few blocks. The hotel was clean and friendly.

Hyatt is very lovely and the front desk staff and room service staff were amazing. Parking is horrid! Location is fabulous, with skywalk connecting you to so much! The beds are small and not comfy, rooms are small and non-descript, but the view is nice. Breakfast was delicious, but very pricey. Revolving restaurant on top provided amazing view, but food and service were definitely NOT worth the heart-attack inducing cost of the meal. The handle on our door of our room was broken and it was very difficult to get out of the room; my little daughter was even trapped in the room briefly when she couldn't get the handle to work from the inside. We were able to open the door from the outside, but even my husband and I had trouble with opening it from inside. We reported it to the front desk FOUR times, and in our three day stay NO ONE came to the room to fix it nor were we offered another room. Internet connection should be free - and it was not. That was very irritating. The hotel is nice, but we will choose another hotel for our next trip to Indy. Fitness Center was very nice, but pool is TINY, although clean and well-maintained.

We had a wonderful time. It was close to everything we wanted to do.
