Great location, comfortable beds

The room was well appointed and up to date. The location was difficult to find the valet situation was poor.

I stayed here as an attendee at a large conference, and I have to say the establishment seemed a bit overwhelmed by the sheer numbers. The staff managed for the most part to stay friendly and helpful, but looked harried, and there were long lines everywhere. This was NOT the best time for one of the auto-checkout terminals not to be working. The elevators were painfully slow as was some of the food service. I liked my room--the bed was great--but the carpet was past its prime and hot water in the shower came and went. The price was reasonable, at least the special conference rate I was getting. I'd consider coming back here when it's a bit less crowded. I have to say the business center was great, though pricey.

I couldn't have been more pleased with my recent stay ay the Hyatt. The rooms have been renovated and mine was extremely nice, and immaculate. The staff was friendly, knowledgable and courteous. And it's in an ideal location to conduct business in downtown Houston.

Loved the shuttle service to the ballpark. The bed could have been more comfortable, for being a 4 star hotel. Great hotel, friendly staff, great location. Parking was a bit expensive but the local shuttle service was great.

The room was very nice but the food at the dining room and room service was only fair. The pool was less than expected and there was construction going on. The people who work at the hotel were very nice.

Courteous service, Great Location with the Great Price.

Elevators, beds andservice. Pool access.

My room on the 8th floor is in desperate need of renovation. The tub drains so slow that when you shower, you stand in the runoff. The sink drips constantly. The carpet is worn & has 3 burn marks from the iron being dropped over the years. There is no internet connection available. The main outlet is overextended with multiple spliters and the weight of that is pulling it away from the wall.

Could not stand the place. No service, no nothing except a long walk from the car to the room. Will never stay there again. Brown water out of the taps. Absolutely lousy. Ten bucks for a drink at a lousy bar. I've stayed at places for three months before and never had a reason to complain. This is definitely not one of those.

Nice atmosphere. Guest slamming doors and yelling at each other until 5:30 am. Have stayed at the hotel numerous times and have always enjoyed it, this time we were on the 25th floor and there were some guests evidently having problems, they slammed doors and yelled at each other every 45 minutes to an hour and lasted about 5 minutes.

Hotel convenient to downtown. Nice rooms. Friendly door and check-in staff. Food service is lacking in quality and service for the price. Waited forever for service and then food. You touch the room phone and you're billed for it, even when making an 800 call. There appears to be a charge for every little thing. Beds are not the best. Have not stayed there again. Revolving rooftop restaurant offers great views of the city, but the food is way overpriced. Not worth the view.

Electrical Outlets didn't work; very high humidity in room; temperature control not great; water pressure in sink very low; impossible to negotiate a proper hot-cold mix; no coffee to make, and then Guest Services suggested I track down housekeeping, rather than offering to take care of it for me; cigarette smoke permeated the entire common area; front desk could not suggest a location for a quick breakfast. Need I go on?

if you're downtown, it's close to everything. went to see that bb team from houston, they may suck but the hotel doesn't. stayed there about 2 years ago and it's been completely redone. the lobby is great, rooms were new and fantastic and the staff could'nt do enough to please. great place.

Nothing. Liked it a lot. Great location. Great staff. Great hotel!

The lobby is impressive & the location is close to any place you need to get downtown. Our room was NOT all it was cracked up to be. The wall paper was old & bubbling up, you have to pay for local calls, there is not a fan in the bathrooms, the showers could use some remodeling (water mildew on the shower ceiling), the valet parking is 25/24 hours & very slow. I have stayed at Super 8 motels that are nicer & have more FREE amenities. Room service is over priced for what you get (19% gratuity added off the bat.) A huge disappointment for being part of the Hyatt family!"

Elevator with a view. Cost of a parking a little high. Very good customer service, ready to check in.

"Lowballs room price while nickling and diming you for other things. Parking is outrageous $25 day for unlimited in/out priveleges, or $16 single-time park. No free internet, $10 per day for hi-speed. No microwave or fridge in rooms. One of the lowest prices for the room though, so if you don't use these features, it may be still worth it. It was for us on this trip. Bedding is nice and plenty of pillows."

The hotel has 3 restaurants to eat at. BUT...the lunch restaurant is only open m-f. I understand it is in the downtown' area. But first and foremost;A restaurant in a hotel should be open 7 days a week. The primo rest- aurant is also closed 2 days a week...Several more unpleasantness regarding dining experience in 2 of 3,there. The GOOD thing I will say;The manager of lobby restaurant was notified of problems we had. Not only did she contact me immediately. She bent backward to fix things as best she could. Shocked, appauled at how little this hotel offered. For the very HIGH cost of staying there. Will never stay at ANT Hyatt,ANYWHERE again. Nor would I reccomend it to anyone. I expected MUCH better from such a long established chain. (I was a working Chef for 14 years. Worked at two hotels. Sooo let down and disqusted...) Very little information available for quests. When told restaurants were closed, etc. No sug- about nearby eateries.
