Beautiful room with very comfortable bed.

Everything was great, the hotel, the room, the service. Very clean and comfortable. The only issue I had is that we loved Long Island so much that we wanted to stay an extra day, but the Hyatt couldn't give me the better rate that the online travel website offered. They said I had to go through the online travel website for the better rate. I don't really buy that. And to get wireless access if you didn't bring something is a fortune! Otherwise, I'd definitely stay again!

We were looking for a nice place to stay for Mother's Day, so we could visit my daughter. We were only at the hotel one night but would definitely stay again. The staff was helpful without being intrusive. Check-in was easy and quick. Our room looked fresh, like it had just been renovated. We didn't try the restaurant, but breakfast that was being served in the morning looked appetizing. We had a good experience.

Value. All 3 ice machines were out of service at the same time. No other complaints about anything. This hotel is nice and not too expensive good value. Very close to the Long island expressway 56-57 exits. Stayed here many times and will go back again.

water damage in lobby. the first room, the head of the bed was about 4"s lower than the foot. we got a different room, on the 10th floor, where we found that the ice machine didn't work. inconvenient to say the least. the new room, dingy at best, a layer of dust surrounded the frame of the bed, the wallpaper was peeling, the bottled water (2) that was in the room, well one was opened and refilled at an earlier date. it was very visable to see that the seal was broken, so it is not checked and who knows what really is in there. there was a tv, but nothing local to watch, you had to pay to view. also, a nice fine layer of dust covered the inadequate coffee pot and supplies. we thought for staying at a hyatt we were in for a real treat...not the case at all. the bed however was comfortable.

This Hotel was built in 1987 & it does not look like they have been doing the greatest job at upkeep. There have been renovations & you can see where it has happened. The bathroom was very bad in my FIRST room. That's right it was that bad they moved me to another room. Unfortunately it was only a little better but, not upto what I would expect is that Hotels Standards. I must say the Front desk staff were Very, very nice. all staff members I encountered were pleasant The location of this Hotel was great only 2 miles from my Family's home. This place really needs to be Professionally cleaned the bathrooms especially! I would not not stay here again but I would be embarrassed to recommend this property to anyone else.

Quick visit - in town for a funeral - comfy room - polite staff - I'd stay again - I did pre-order a bottle of wine - however upon arrival it was not there - so I just ordered it when I arrived - room service is only available up til midnight - and as I knew I was getting there late...wanted to make sure it was ready for us! thank goodness I arrived just a bit after 11pm :)

Excellent property! I've stayed here many times. There's nothing I don't like. Excellent 3.5 star hotel. Comfortable, affordable, great location on a great property.

The Hyatt Regency Long Island is a very clean, comfortable and convenient hotel. I initially was given a room on the 10th floor below the hotel air conditioning unit. The noise from the unit was completely unacceptable. When I complained I was moved to a very pleasant room on the 8th floor. I suggested that no one be assigned the prior room and was surprised that the hotel would attempt to place a paying guest in that location. I would return to this hotel without hesitation.

I was on the tenth floor which I requested and the view was beautiful. Located on a Golf Course on Long Island New York, the Hyatt was elegant and friendly from the moment I stepped inside the spacious marble lobby. I arrived early, hours before check in time but the helpful man at the desk promptly checked me in and I soon was in my room on the requested highest floor. The view was lovely looking down on the Golf Course. I treated myself to a chicken club sandwich, fresh, tasty and an Italian cheese cake for dessert. Later I took a nice hot bath and snuggled into my comfortable down comforter and Egyptian cotton sheets. The rest was a dream until morning.

Internet is not free. Limited channels had not much to see and no continental breakfast. If you like the privacy it is located at a perfect location with no traffic or congestion of people. If you are person that doesn't like much the television or the internet, this would be the perfect place since the internet is not free and the television has limited channels and if you want to see anything else you also have to pay for it. Then again nothing can be perfect. It is clean beds are always fresh and clean.

The best bed I've ever slept on. It would have been great if the room had a Jacuzzi for it's star rating. The sky should always be the limit.

The room was ready when we got there, and check out was easy. I liked the room set up, especially the placement of the mirror. There is an mp3 player there too, and that was a plus!
