We went into DC everyday so this is very close-maybe 5 minute drive to the capital. The restuarant in the hotel was not open due to renovations and they did have a staffing problem with maids so the room did not get made up until almost 5p. No big deal, they were very nice and bought us drinks in the lounge as we waited for the room to be made up. overall a nice hotel with a great location.

very safe neighborhood with resteraunts and plentiful free/cheap parking a little distance from Metro Everyone is complaining about parking. If you go over the weekend most of the lots around Crystal City are free or very cheap (much less than $30.00). The closest lot is two/three blocks away (PMI I think) it is was like $6.00 on Sat and Sun. The closest free lot (again on weekends) was about five/six blocks away across from a great Tapas restaurant. The lots are underground.

The staff carried out their duties with a smile. The room was clean and nicely appointed. For the money a very nice deal. The only draw back was parking. You were forced to pay 25 bucks a day to park and that can add up quickly.

Valet parking service so bad.

Room layouts were great and shuttles to air & metro are nice. Swimming pool a bit small. Have to pay for parking and internet. The hotel is large but the staff works hard and efficient to maintain it. The room was very nice and well decorated. Though a longer list of channels to choose from would've been nice, the LCD TV. is large and easy to use. Internet is available but for a charge. Very close to metro and DC and shuttles to airport and metro eliminated my need for a rental car. The breakfast buffet is good with an omelet bar but lacking with other items. Service though at bars and restaurants was great.

The Hotel in general was GREAT. Close to the airport, metro, etc. I lived in Fairfax for a number of years, and come back to visit often, I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and Crystal City. We had a few meetings scheduled, and we told everyone lets just meet at the hotel. When we chose this hotel it advertised a discount on all the meals during our stay, we even got a coupon for 50% off all meals for the entire length of our stay - but 2 hours after we checked in and went to the restaurant to discover all the restaurants except the bar were closed for a few days. This was on a Friday evening. Seems like the staff and the front desk should have known. MAKES ONE WONDER WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS..........

Overall experience was good, but additional costs for internet access and vehicle parking were significant in lodging of this class and expense; these services are usually available and provided at most similar lodging.

The rooms and the price. My bed seemed a little dirty. Nice renovated rooms, very stylish, great location, excellent value.

The hotel was great. It was clean, more four star than three star and the staff was one of the best staffs we've ever encountered. We couldn't be happier with our stay at this hotel.

Requested a King, was upgraded to top floor with wine/fruit tray. Nothing I can think of. Than e hotel is excellent of business and leisure travelers. The location is a bit hard to find and not a place for walking. However, the hotel is accommodating and well appointed. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to my colleagues and friends.

I really enjoyed my stay there and hope if ever I am back in the area I am able to stay at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City. I want to thank everyone for the great stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City for five nights, while seeing the sights of Washington DC. The hotel was nice. We liked the rooms and the location was pretty good (about a 10-minute walk to the metro station). My only problem with the hotel is a small one. I did not like the Cinnebar Resturant. Way too pricey. We were going to eat there for lunch on our first day. When we saw the $16 price tag for a salad, however, we changed our minds. Good hotel. Great service. I would stay here again.

Friendly staff, nice hustle and bustle in the lobby, very attentive. Very expensive to park but the service was worth it. It was a pleasure staying here. The rate I got on Priceline made all the additional fees worth it. Parking, tipping, bellman, etc. was all part of the package to fantastic service. The room was quiet. The bed was pure heaven. From the front desk to the bellman to the parking attendant to the doorman, everyone was friendly and professional. Loved the hotel & staff!

My wife and I stayed during the week of Thanksgiving 2008. Every positive review we had read was true. The fre shuttles to and from Reagan as well as the metro were reliable and much appreciated. The staff was cordial, helpful and responsive. The rooms were nice and clean and the rates were better than surrounding hotels we have used in the past. There were some renovation ongoing but it was neitherinvasive nor noisy. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the scrambled eggs were cooked to absolute perfection. How that can be accomplished at a buffet is a minor miracle. Many good restaurants are within walking distance - a few blocks. A very enjoyable stay. The only negative was something that the hotel could not help with - we booked our trip through online travel website. Huge mistake!

When we arrived at the hotel I asked where I could park my car the person at the desk told me that valet service was $25 per day. When I asked for free parking she responded in a very snobby voice you can try your luck on the street. Two days into my stay I could not find a spot on the street so I used a garage around the corner for $6 for overnight and it had a stairway marked as an entrance to the hotel. I will say on a positive note that we did not hear any airplanes in the room and you are very close to the airport.

It was clean. It was not near as comfortable or accommodating as the Crystal City Sheraton. Hotel lobby and room were very clean and presentable. Staff was courteous but aloof. Noises from hallway and other rooms could be heard very well. Room did not have a small fridge as did the Sheraton. Sheraton provided small continental breakfast and snacks in the evening which this hotel did not. Pool was clean, but jacuzzi had a cloudy cast to the water. Location was quite a distance from the nearest Metro. A shuttle was provided for the Metro, but it tended to not be on time. My stay there was not near as nice as my stay at the Sheraton a few days earlier.

The room was fabulous. Beautiful decorations, comfy bed, wonderful furniture & linens, very clean. The food was wonderful. The only concern was we were at a 1,000 person convention and the hotel did not have enough staff on in the lobby/bar. There was only one waitress & two bartenders when our convention let out on Friday night. Those poor ladies were slammed with 300 to 400 people. We waited an hour to place our order. It wasn't the waitress's fault. She was only one person. Her service was excellent. The conference accommodations were also wonderful. Clean restrooms too--always a plus! Check-in and check out with the concierge services was excellent as well, very smooth & accommodating.

The hotel had quiet rooms and comfy beds. There was a shuttle to the closest Metra station that I used frequently. It also has a shuttle to Reagan airport. They are both better than parking. It has expense and understaffed valet parking-only. The hotel is also within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping.

Loved my room! Shuttle to metro/hotel is kind of slow. Great hotel. Will stay again!
