Nice relaxaing stay. Enjoyed soaking up the views and the ambience. The food was great and staff was friendly.

The beds and linens were of good quality and very comfortable. The staff of this hotel is the least friendly I have encountered in all of Mexico and at any 4 star hotel ever. Worst 4 star hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff is want for local information or just unwilling to offer it up when asked. The hotel seems to be skimping on the little things. There is only one restaurant. But I cannot emphasize enough the staff is the worst, when in Mexico you can get excellent service at a 2 star hotel why bother with these guys they don't even have a beach and wont tell you how to get to one.

The hotel was awesome, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The views of the ocean are wonderful and the room was comfortable. We never ate at the hotel but probably should have the prices looked fair. If you want to get something to drink/eat for a snack the oxxo across the street is your best bet ... the hotel is outrages on their prices for the drinks in your in room bar. Don't eat at the Chilli's, ( I ordered a well done burger and got a raw one sent it back and got another raw one....) The Hooters wasn't any good either... RainForest Cafe was a good spot and located just down the street... If you want to go shopping at Market 28 walk down a couple of blocks and get on the bus! 7 peso's instead of 120 for a cab ride.. The hotel was located near all of this stuff and was an awesome place to stay.! Would Stay again for Sure Very nice Hotel !!!

The hotel is ideally located near shopping, restaurants and nighlife. Many of the other hotels in the area require taxi rides or bus rides to see some of the area. All you need was within walking distance. Staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. The only down side was construction which closed the nicer restaurant in the hotel. This was minor since there were a variety of places to eat in the area.

Friendly staff and close to action. No beach, limited access to beach. Pool closes early. There's no beach (which I knew) but connecting beach has limited access. You can't even use the beach chairs. What's more, the pool closes at 8 pm! And they shut down the walkway after 10 pm, so you can't even walk along the coast. Staff is friendly, but the hotel isn't worth the money. Stay some where else!Between thegovernment operatesall the beaches so you can go to any beach you want including the one at the Ritz. That's why the Hyatt says they have a beach. There isn't even a proper way walkway to the connecting Beach you have to walk past the windows and across the grass.

The guest rooms were decorated in a modern sophisticated decor. We had a wonderful view of the beach and Caribbean Sea. There was a wonderful breakfast buffet offered every morning, and the pool area was fabulous, there was something for all, whether you were in the mood to swim or just lounge on the in-pool chaise, covered love seats, or the cabana beds available with a sea front view, we tried them all and loved every minute. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to a return trip.

The Hyatt Regency Hotel was nice! We had a great view from our hotel room and every morning we had free breakfast. The only thing that was missing was the beach this hotel didnt have one but we still had a good time. Cancun is the best place, you cant compare it to any where else(the blue beaches) a little expensive but we would drive into El Centro to eat at Rigos Tacos, La Barrilla, Los Arcos and Los del Pescado that food was great.

This is a great hotel. Close to great restaurants and nightlife. The lack of beach is the only downfall. The food is great and prices are reasonable. The views from the rooms are awesome and the service is top notch. If you want to walk out of your room and sit on the beach, this place would not be for you, but if you want to stay at a first class hotel that is reasonable price in a great location with great service, I would highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Cancun. Upgrade to Regency club for private check in and nice breakfast & coctail hour - worth the small additional cost.

could not be on regency level-understand sitll under renovation-was told it was totally done. paid regency fee which allowed bar 5pm to 7pm. did not return from tours until 7pm. breakfast was the highlite of the visit. room was dirty when arrived and never cleaned properly. coffee pot was never cleaned. cups never replaced or cleaned. sink would not drain when arrived. water never got hot. chose hyatt over marriott because of past experience. hotel did not live up to hyatt standards.

Good services and very clean good very nice and modern. No beach but in the pictures look that your will have some beach. Have in mind this hotel not have beach opening the location is good for party all the time if you going to party but if like the beach more you have to go to other hotel to go to the beach. You only get beach view.

Hotel was nice and would stay there again. A few notes to warn others; South side of hotel gets rather noisy at night from partys down the way. You will hear doors slam very often throughout the hotel, because the breeze from open patio doors catches the front door and slams it closed. It took us a day or two to realize that was the noise we would hear once in a while. The view from this hotel is the best of any on the east side of the hotel zone. No beach for this hotel, but you can walk north to the Dream and use theirs. They charge for coffee packets in the room after your 1st night. We never had to pay for coffee, because our room service person would refill after we complained.

My wife and I had not ever been so happy with a service at a hotel. The Hyatt counts with VERY FRIENDLY staff as well as a great location to clubs and restaurants and even to the beach. We would definetly go back and stay there.

The huts with the beds were very nice next to ocean. Great hotel - airy - comfortable, and clean - service was fantastic - very friendly.

The room was very comfortable and stylish with a lovely balcony to enjoy the ocean view. The pool and spa areas were gorgeous. Food was great The staff were very polite. With it's unique architecture with rooms facing out to a circular atrium, it seemed like a very safe arrangement for travelers. No long closed hallways here. My one problem was with a broken phone and getting it fixed took too long. Next time I would ask to change my room rather than wait for a repair to happen, , I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

the hotel lobby/atrium is modern and pretty. it is humid b/c it is open/outdoors. the elevators are very hot due to the bright light bulbs. the rooms are very nice, comparable to the W hotel: fine linens, tile floors, flat screen TV, private balcony, safe, mini bar. the pool area is fabulous with water fountains, waterfalls and swim-up bar. there is also a children's pool, complete with an island fountain. the pool area has many very comfortable lounge chairs and cabanas pool-side and even some lounge chairs built into the pool. loved those! the location of the hotel is at "the point" near a lighthouse and walking distance to many restaurants and night clubs. within a 10 minute walk: hooter, dady o's, ice bar, carlos n charlie's, rainforest cafe, hard rock cafe and chili's. the flea market and senor frogs is about a 15 minute walk. there are many street vendors and tour salesman along the walk between the hotel and the mall. just say "no thanks" as you walk past them! definitely check out the dreams cancun hotel next door. they have a small beach, hammocks and a dolphin encounter program!

the hyatt regency in cancun is definitely a hotel i would recommend to everyone; families, couples, singles, old and young! a great hotel with very good food, excellent drinks, very nice design, great rooms with comfortable beds, and a staff among the stars! i loved the beds out by the ocean and the bar & lounge was a great place to spend an evening. the lobby floor was a great hang out place, where we could enjoy the beautiful design of the hotel. if you want a great vacation in cancun, book at the hyatt regency! close to the tourist-streets with flea markets and starbucks, but also a short walk to the bus stop will take you into the old cancun and charming places like the real centrum of cancun. recommend going into the downtown part of cancun to see the real magic of the caribbean :):)

I liked the location. It was within walking distance to just about everything you could imagine you would want or need. The only real complaint was there was no direct beach access & our shower just trickled out no pressure at all. Beautiful grounds very clean and friendly staff.
