We confirmed every day for three days. Our last confirmation was at 8pm when we asked for the front desk and informed them it would be 1 AM before we arrived. "No Problem". Problem. We get there at 1 AM and there are no rooms and [...] refuses to contact any manager to assist us. We are VERY unhappy (no swearing). We take what we can - they get us a comparable hotel (15 minutes away - we got to bed at 2:15 AM) and pay for our taxi to go and come back the next day. We do have a room the next day and they also provided us free breakfast coupons.[...], the manager the next day was accomodating.

Very quiet and comfortable room. Nice lounge and restaurant. The carpet needed cleaning, the TV remote only worked occasionally.

I stayed in the Hyatt Regency Cambridge for approximately 7 days. Good location. Close to the T bus stop, with connections to Subway station. So for an overseas traveler like me very convenient to commute , since I did not rent a car. Exceptionally good rates compared to other hotels in that area. Only thing I did not like was the parking charges of UDS 35 /- . Otherwise good hotel at very reasonable prices.

The addition of a separate bed for a third adult made a tight room size almost impossible to move around in. The hotel was aware of the addition prior to arrival and the bed was delivered about a hour after check-in. Nothing was removed to accomadate this extra piece of furniture and it would not fold up during non sleeping hours to allow a bit more room to move around. Very good sized dressing/shower areas however. First time we have experienced the bedding not being changed daily as part of the maid service. Would not recommend the hotel to fellow travelers based on the room size but would recommend it based on cleanness and staff helpfulness.

We like the hotel but wish we had requested a balcony room. Our view was of a parking gargage yet many rooms overlook the water. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The buffet was great. Some people get this included in their room rate too. Everything in Boston is so expensive. Parking was 35.00 a night and we parked and took cabs everywhere so that was hard to choke down. But the staff was great and the bar has a nice view.

Justed stayed as an over night at the hyatt and did not use any of the amenities. The one thing i did miss from the room, was an ipod adapter or cd player. I did not investigate to see if what we had was a clock radio or just a clock, but i like being able to play my own music in the room.

Location and view. Parking charges. The hotel had a great location and was an easy in and out for the majority of the city. They are very proud of their parking lot at $35.00 a night for a guest, which I think is way to high. Other than that a nice property.

We had a wonderful, comfortable room with a river view. Very comfortable bed and nice room layout, like a mini-suite. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The nearest T (BU Central) station was a ten minute walk, which is no big deal. Took the free shuttle to Kendall when we left, which was very convenient. Great pool and fitness center. We would definitely stay here again.

For convenience, location, and simple comfort, the Hyatt in Cambridge is ideal. But it's far from up-to-par with most other Hyatts. Don't expect much in decor, and as some reviewers have said, it is currently under-staffed. (Do not confuse this with rude or unhelpful staff.) When checking in, only 2 people were working the front desk, and there was a small queue. But they seemed very efficient, friendly, and courteous. There were no problems, check-in was quick, and we were given options for room location (e.g. away from elevators, larger bathroom) and amenities. If you're in town for a weekend trip or a quick stop-over, the price of a room here is more than fair compared to most other hotels (even some motels), the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the location is great for easy driving access to Cambridge and Boston (situated near MIT, Harvard, and BU). I did not stop in the restaurant this trip, but have eaten in Zephyr before. The food is good, but as many have said, it is over-priced for its faire. When booking the room, the Hyatt ran a promotion for 2 free breakfast buffet coupons as well. Parking can quickly add up. They have both hourly rates, and a 35 daily pass where you can come and go as you please. If you're only there for 1 night, (meaning less than 24 hours) it's probably not worth paying the 35.

Hotel was very nice. A little on the loud side though at night and with multiple weddings had to sleep with the tv on to drown out the noise. And this was going to bed at 1:30 a.m. A short cab ride to Harvard Square and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

everything was good food was good but i don't get it why they chareges * for parking fees per night ,what kind of hotel is that which has not parking for their guests here i think motel is best for future they are more cheper than hotel and specialy they have parking for their guests not looting them for parking and drinking water. i paid * for three night parking fees and two bottle of drinking water, that's not good , in future you guys have to tell your coustmer not take car which gonna more costly than taxi.

Do not stay here. The location of the hotel is good as it is right on the Charles River, next to MIT and a short distance from Harvard University but the hotel is not properly maintained. The flooring is worn in many places and tape is used to cover large holes or tears in it. The on site dining is over priced and the food quality is only average. The access gates both in and out of the parking garage do not function properly, making it difficult to utilize the garage. The bathroom has a shower stall only and is exceptionally small coupled virtually no water pressure in either the shower or the sink. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful when they can be found but it is clear that the property is grossly understaffed, with only one person at the front desk and no doorman on duty before noon or after 8 PM. The hotel was not full but housekeeping services did not arrive to make up the room until after 6 PM on two of the three nights of the stay, which made changing for dinner difficult. I would not stay here again.

It was my first trip to Boston and we had tickets to the Red Sox game. Getting to and back was easy with Taxi's being readily available. Had a delay getting a flight home but the Hotel was ready to accomadate us last minute. So we enjoyed another good nights sleep and another delicious breakfast. I would definetly recommend to my friends.

The layout of the hotel and the room were interesting and unique. We had to pay $35 per night to use parking. The hotel was wonderful, especially for the price I paid. The location was perfect for where we were going and we were really glad that shuttle service to the metro was available so that we didn't have to use our car.I think that parking should be free to encourage people to use mass transit.

Positives - The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever experienced. Breakfast buffet was delicious and had a vast array to choose from. The fitness center equipment was excellent. Wonderful sauna and steamroom (if you could navigate through the mess in the lockerroom to get to them!) Quality toiletries that were replaced each day. The bad - Unfriendly, uncaring, uninformed, indifferent staff (with the exception of the doorman we met at check out who was wonderful.) Despite a supposed recent property facelift it was shabby and run down looking in both the lobby as well as the rooms. Lip marks were present on the drinking glasses in the room - thank goodness for the paper cups supplied as ordering clean ones from room service showed a charge in the hotel inroom guide. Though clean, the bathroom was worn and rusty and had broken fixtures. Our order of 2 items from room service, ordered a certain way because of a food allergy, came up to us completely wrong - though it was remedied quite quickly at no extra charge. The pool was dirty. The locker rooms were dirty, unkept, lacked amenities like baskets for used towels so they were dropped all over the floor. Shower soap dispensers were empty, toilets were out of paper. The fitness area and lockerroom had no towels. The pool area did have towels but they ran out and were never replenished (they were like sand paper anyway). Everytime I was in the locker room the shower curtains were in a heap on the floor. There was non-working whirlpool (for 7 months) even though website listed it was an amenity. Unattended fitness/pool desk area allowed chaos to rule and made it hard to book spa services...which we decided not to get because of previously mentioned experience in the health club area. There were no amenities like robes in the rooms, no inroom safe, no minibar. No coffee/tea in the lobby or fitness area in the morning. For a hotel of this price and level I expected these kinds of things. Bottomline this hotel is n

The room and service were both very good. The customer service was top rate, I will be back. Very Freindly people with a great breakfast buffet. It was just a little too far to walk from Fenway and the "T" stops. Each and every Hotel staff member I spoke with was very polite and helpful, nice people.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt for three nights with my family. Our stay was very comfortable and the staff were attentive. The reception desk was efficient and courteous. They upgraded us to a river view room without our having to request it. The beds were comfortable and piled high with soft down pillows. The staff in the hotel restaurant were attentive addressed us by name. The buffet breakfast was extensive and generous. I have stayed at Hyatts all over the US and Hawaii. This Hyatt was up to the standards of their other hotels.
