The location is great and most of the attractions and restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel is connected to the mall, you could shop and eat right there. We're very impressed with the staff..from checking in/checking out and giving us typed written directions of the tourist attractions whether you drive or you just want to walk and a list of the restaurants nearby. With the price we paid, we're expecting a refrigerator in the room and some small things like a disposable shower cap. We had a good time and that's the most important thing.

Best hotel experience! The room was top notch and the service was spectacular. The friendliest and most corteous hotel staff I have ever encountered. This is the standard.

had enjoyable stay. Hotel and all staff are on their toes and courtesy is priority one. I can recommend and feel comfortable bragging on them.

The location was great. Our stay was great. Loved that the hotel had a balcony (a major plus). We would stay here again.

Hotel room was tiny but clean. Telephone cord was broken so you could only use the speaker phone. For the price, it was a so, so experience.

3 day business trip. Stay in room in Atrium Towers.. room could use updating...tub & toilet were outdated. Acutally toilet looked like one in a locker room with no tank on back...you had to lean over the bowl to reach over and around to flush...be sure to close the top.. The closet was so small that it was difficult to reach in for your clothes or shoes...probably would have ben better with louvered doors. Be aware of "rates with breakfast"...the buffet was plentiful but menu did not change during my stay. The fitness facilties are great!

We stayed at this hotel for one night after spending some time with friends in a local Atlanta suburb for the 4th of July. We wanted prime access to the touristy attractions downtown, and saw Orbitz had a good deal on this particular hotel so that's the primary reason we booked it. The hotel decor, ambiance, and service didn't blow us away, but it was decent for the cost. When we arrived, the check-in was pretty easy. We skipped the counter and checked-in using an automated kiosk right beside the main counter -- and the process was smooth and quick. We were actually meeting friends at the Aquarium right after, so the speediness of check-in was a definite plus. After dropping our bags off in our room, we walked to the Aquarium from the hotel and it took about 10 minutes, however we did get hassled by two separate homeless men who told us we were walking in the wrong direction and that everything was closed... Which was not the case...? Regardless, the area that the walked to is pretty central for some cool tourist attractions. The Aquarium is right next to the new Coca-Cola Museum, and is situated right beside Olympic Centennial Park. The CNN building is also right in the vicinity, and if you buy an Atlanta Citypass, you can access all three of those attractions plus a few other museums for a bit less than if you bought tickets separately at each location. Overall the hotel stay was as the title states.... Decent. The room we got was modern with a big flat-screen, comfy bed with a bunch of nicer than normal pillows, and a typical smaller-sized bathroom with not so great water-pressure. There wasn't much of a balcony in our room. It was basically just a ledge with a railing looking at an office building, but we didn't go outside anyway. A couple added points... We hung out at the bar in the lobby after getting dinner and it was a real good time. The staff was friendly and quick to pour drinks, and there were a couple of tvs to watch as well. The bar is in the atrium o

Do not waist your time or money. This hotel is old and is on desparate need of renovation. I would not stay her for business or pleasure.

This was my first time checking in at the kiosk. I just entered my credit card and it automatically printed a room key. That was great! The Hyatt is connected to the Peach Tree mall so it is easy to have food at the food court or go shopping.

First, let me say the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was another story. Our first room (on the 9th floor of the International Tower) was horrible. The toilet and carpet in the room were very dirty. We asked for another room and were offered another in the same tower - which was also dirty. We finally ended up in the Atrium tower (I think that's the name - it's the one where the doors face the lobby). The room in that tower was at least clean, but it definitely showed its age (had some shabby areas - esp. in the bathroom). Overall, I was quite disappointed in this particular Hyatt experience. I expected much better from Hyatt. I think the hotel could benefit from upgrading their older rooms and should provide free Internet access (see my comments on that in the next paragraph). Additionally, they charge * a night for valet parking (not * like travel agent indicates - perhaps outdated info). There is no other parking option at the hotel, such as self-parking, although there are outdoor lots in the vicinity that are cheaper. They also charge * a day for Internet access from your room - which is a rip-off. Internet access should be free with the room. I was travelling on business and needed to access my work email, etc., on my company laptop. I have already given feedback to the travel group for my company that this hotel should NOT be used by the company anymore.

Staff was extremely helpful, friendly - no complaints but the parking was valet and $27 and our only option there was no self park!

Our family come to Atlanta often. We prefer to stay at 3* or higher hotels. This hotel was very comfortable and the room was immaculate. The check-in was speedy. One of the things I liked about this hotel is that you could just walk to the food court as well as the shopping center and never have to leave the premises. Everything was so convenient. We will stay at this hotel again!
