This was one of the best run hotels I have ever stayed in. The service at all levels was excelllent without being intrusive or over whelming. I stay in a lot of hotels for business and I can say this one, was better managed than any I have stayed at before including other Hyatts in other cities

Quiet, convenient. There wasnever anyone at the entrance to the restaurant to seat us.

The young lady desk clerk who registered us as guests was very helpful and pleasant. The Hyatt has a beautiful building in downtown ABQ. We enjoyed our stay.

We checked in for only 1 night. We had 3 people in our party, two adults and 1 six year old who likes to 360 in bed and is impossible to sleep with. Our room had two beds, but they were full size beds. Unless you are newlyweds, I don't know anyone who sleeps two to a full size bed. Additionally, we ordered room service and the corn in my daughter's pricey kid's meal was ice cold, it was like they just took it out of the freezer and threw it in the basket. I would never stay there again.

I booked my stay 3 months in advance with a non-smoking room. When I check in they put me in a smoking room the first night (they didn't have any non-smoking rooms that night) and moved me after that for the rest of my stay. All of my stuff smelt like smoke, I had a head ache all night with very little sleep. The only thing they would do was to give me a 25 room credit. BIG DEAL. At 16 a day for parking and the fact that all my stuff had to be cleaned including my luggage the 25 was a slap in the face. If your a non-smoker stay as far away from this hotel as you can.

The room was comfortable and clean. Front desk and bell service quite good. KevaJuice had great smoothies (I like not having to go to a restaurant for breakfast). Main restaurant, McGraths, had very slow service, even when they were only about half full, and the food was only average.

Hotel was very nice and parking cost at $12 a day.

This facility is located in a clean and nice part of downtown. The lobby is inviting and the lobby staff was very courteous and helpful (isn't that why discerning travelers choose Hyatt Regency?). Once checked-in on the way to our room there was a huge bleached out spot on the carpet in front of a room. Our standard room, equipped with two full beds, was rather cramped. There were a couple of red stains on the computer chair (our children of course thought it might have been blood). The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and there were additional pillows, especially for reclining on the bed to watch TV. There was an annoying Entertainment Center/Dresser whose drawer wouldn't remain shut. At night the sink made a loud gurgling noise which my wife figured out could be stopped by pulling the drain plug plunger shut. The next day (we stayed 2 nights) when we returned to the facility after a day-long excursion we found that they had replaced 5 bath towels with 3 (there were 4 of us in the room) and also given us 2 fewer hand towels. Upon bringing this to housekeeping's attention, we got the additional towels. Oh, another inconvenience, we ran out of outlets when trying to charge two phones, cameras' batteries, and two laptops. Lastly, I found that having to pay for wifi is just plain cheap. This hotel is next to a Qwest office building - meaning this facility probably gets a lot of tech-savvy clients. So the lack of free internet connectivity is unacceptable. On the plus side, the restaurant is first-class. All-in-all this is a rather nice 3-star hotel masquerading as a 4.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Hyatt in Albuquerque. The room was large with a sublimely comfortable bed. The staff were courtous and helpful and were always eager to offer a restaurant recommendation or travel directions. I ate one night at McGrath's and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and service. It is a three star restaurant and worth a visit regardless if you are staying at the hotel. A previous reviewer indicated that there are no restaurants withing 2 blocks, but given that the 2 block walk is quick and reveals a host of restaurants, including the highy rated "Tucano's" brazilian BBQ, this is not an issue to be concerned about in my opinion.

When I come to Albuquerque I usually stay in another part of town. This time I stayed downtown. At check in we were given a map and description of area restaurants within walking distance. There were so many, it was hard to choose. The only thing I didn't like was the $12.00 parking and $9.00 internet connection charge.

Our stay here was for a convention across the street which was handy. The area, however, is completely deserted at night and has no place to eat close by. On weekends there is no restaurant within two blocks which is open. McGrath's restaurant was slow with unremarkable food. Starbuck's in the lobby was very great. I had asked for a mountainview room when booking months ahead. I got a view of a building. The beds were my biggest complaint: The bottom sheet was not smoothed and tucked in so that when you pulled back the comforter it all came out. I had to remake the bed each night. A bottom fitted sheet would have helpful trmendously. The sheets were not changed in the five days we were there. The staff was very helpful, especially the bellhops and concierge. Otherwise, this was a very unremarkable stay.

Such luxury at such a low price. I enjoyed everything. Maybe a bigger screen TV would have been nice. For the Price I paid for this hotel, it was unbeatable. We loved it so much. We never stay at such a nice hotel because we never can afford it, but with Price line we stayed at a nice and fancy hotel at such an affordable price. Thank you.

The Hyatt has absolutely no security dteail. The homeless rate in alberquerque is extremly high and they are allowed in the hotel anytime they please. One we encountered on 2 different occasions in the same day was covered in BLOOD!!!!!!!! And the staff didnt seem at all concerned. Disgrace.

Thought the overall experience at the Hyatt Albuquerque was very nice. The only complaint we have is that we had to pay $12 a day to park our car.
