I was there for a Silpada Convention and it was a great experience all around.

This was a great location and connected to the link. There was construction occurring on some floors. This hotel had everything you would need near by or within walking distance. It is close to the power and lights district, the arts district, and has convenient parking.

We had a great room with a view. The staff was very friendly and professional. We had dinner at the Skies restaurant. Good food. Great view. The bed was very comfortable and the room service came in a timely fashion. We used the valet parking. No need to leave the hotel. All we needed was there. We stayed one night for our wedding anniversary. We would stay again.

The main problem with this hotel is calling it a Hyatt Regency. Although the lobby looks great, the actually quality, service, and convenience is below average. My room - the toilet leaks, Wireless internet is through T-mobile so expect to pay */day. Keys wouldn't work - the desk blambed it on engineering and engineering blambed on the desk. No coffee or water. Ipod alarm clock was nice and cordless phone. Food and drink - good luck. Other than starbucks there's no way to get a quick bite. When you go to any of the retaraunts expect to wait for a hostess, then wait for a waiter, and then wait for you order no how simple it is. To get a bottle of water at night i had to order room service * plus tip . The front line staff have no idea what they are doing and tend to go about their tasks rather than wait on customers, and in my experience make things up if they don't know the answer. But upon complaint, the next tier knew exactly what to do and was mostly able to fix it. Many businesses are this way but eventually you get tired of explaining the service you expect. Pool - okay for an urban location but in my experience there were kids in the hottub, and after a long long work day we all got kicked out at 10pm, as soon as i got. Convenience - none, its hard to get anywhere or get anything, so the slightest need is a hassle. If you have lots of time on no specific needs i suppose its fine, but if you just any quick forget it. parking same.

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. We were in town for a large conference on July 23-26. The rooms were plenty big for 2 adults and updated nicely. The granite countertops and marble floors in the bathroom were a nice touch. Though the t.v. didn't work upon arrival, a quick phone call and 5 minutes later, a "t.v. engineer" appeared at our door and had it working in a matter of minutes (it was unplugged and we were unable to pull out the entertainment center w/ a granite top!) We only used the pool for a couple of hours, but found it to be clean and refreshing. The entire staff was friendly and professional and made us feel like we were their only guests; the shuttle service was second to none. This came as a surprise due to the fact the conference added 1200+ people above the previous year. One word of caution: if you request a wake-up call, pad the time by 20 minutes as they personnally call each guest (it's not an automated system). And the rooms are not "sound proof" as stated in the description. If you suffer from sleep apnea, call the hotel for information about a special floor for you! One of my coworkers was quite impressed after accidentally getting off the elevator on the wrong floor and discovering this. All in all, great expectations, great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Close to city attractions. I did not like the extra charge for parking in garage. The location was nice. By the Union Station and shopping center. The link was a walkway that connected several hotels and shopping centers together. It rained so the link kept us nice and dry. We had a very nice view of the city lights facing the Sprint Center. I did not like the $14.95 charge per day for parking.

Overall, my first experience with Hyatt Regency Crown Center in KC, MO was good. The hotel staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and the amenities were quite good. The room was spacious, clean, and the 29th floor view provided a great look of downtown. There were more than enough good pillows and towels. Room service was quick and the food was tasty and appealingly presented. Self-serve parking was convenient with the garage right beside the hotel. Room for improvement could be to put drinking glasses in the bathroom (which could also be used to hold toothbrushes, etc.) and to fill up the mini-refrigerator (which was empty for my entire stay). Also, for video entertainment, the only choice is "pay for view". It would have been nice to have at least some current news streaming.

Make sure you ask for a view if you want one. Room was nice but I paid for concierge level and got the floor below but charged for concierge meaning we could walk up a floor the the 'free stuff.' Our floor was recently redone, but lower floors weren't. Pool was on roof 7 levels up but not well maintained. Pool was full of kids - good for families but not for couples. We ate at Sky restaurant. Most was good except my seafood - they didn't charge me and gave free dessert. View from Sky is awesome. Bed was great. We ate, had a few drinks then lounged in bed enjoying the view.

I attended a business conference and appreciated the convenience of my room to our meeting and dining areas. The service and food were outstanding and the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Valet parking and ease of coming and going were great. Location of being at Crown Center wasn't so great because Crown Center isn't great.

The Hotel is nice, but the Hyatt name is at stake. The Furnishings and carpet in the lobby are the first impres-sions! Additionally, the jaccuzzi/hot tub was inop. The Workout room and free weights were barely adequate. These were the reasons i went there, to get a way for the weekend and have decent accomodations. Room and resturant, VERY nice. Service very good!

Perfect location in KC. Many things to do within walking distance - no need to drive to eat. Spacious, clean, and quiet rooms with comfortable beds - not many like this! Plenty of elevators - no waiting! Relaxed atmosphere.

My boyfriend took me on a 2 nite stay in KC @ the Hyatt on a Friday & Saturday. Check-in was speedy and the staff was very friendly. It was for my Bday, so we both recieved free breakfast at the Terrace Restaurant. It was a good, if light breakfast. We also had dinner & drinks @ spectators. Very good as well. Rooms were clean and VERY comfortable. Will DEFINATELY Stay here again

The Hyatt is a ""bingo,"" offering majestic skyline views, ultra-clean, quiet rooms, Internet access, and heavenly"" beds. The hotel connects to Crown Center which offers more activities than we were able to pack into a weekend. If you do ""see it all"" during your stay, the one-of-a-kind Country Club Plaza, a shopping and entertainment district unlike any other, is 10 minutes away. There is also the jazz district at 18th & Vine, which we found attracts visitors from all over the world. The Hyatt offers unbeatable value. We will definitely return to this oasis in the ""Heart of America.""

I went to KC for a convention. The regency crown has an excellent meeting facility. Banquet service was great. Food was good. My single King smoking room was beautiful, the Maid was really nice and did a great job.

Restaurants were good and the close proximity to the Liberty Memorial Museum an added bonus.
