Great business friendly place, excellent security. You should not print the amountI purchased the room, when this happens you are treated differently by guest services. This is a beautiful property, works great for business traveler, very secure, easy access, great room and business area. Bath very small, second class.

Great hotel for our annual mother daughter shopping weekend. Very clean, quiet, roomy and a great price. The only problem we encountered was only 1 king bed for four people..-----since we booked through a travel site apparently they do not guarantee two beds. There was a nice fold out sleeper/sofa for the other two guests. Breakfast was light. We will definitely stay again.

This hotel was excellent for the price. We stayed in a much more expensive hotel the next night and we wished we had stayed at the Hyatt instead. The staff was great! The bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint was the channel selection in the rooms. You could buy movies, but seemed a little expensive. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was still under renovation. The rooms and lobby were very nice, but he breakfast area was wedged into a small room and the elevators were dirty.

Extremely friendly staff. I especially liked the sitting area and flat screen TV. The free breakfast was well serviced. I would specifically look for another Hyatt Place in the future.

When we arrived we thought we were at the wrong place. Hotel isnt finished in the entrance, there were no, not one, phonebook in the building, breakfast area not finished so you eat in a room, and when we ask for a 3nd night at 79.00 that we had paid(internet) for the first two they said that it would be 169.00.You should never pay full price for a hotel that isn't finished.We were very excited about staying here and it was nothing special.

Other than the night clerk staff was very friendly. Rooms very outdated. Night clerk really performed poorly in calling us at midnight. Over all the hotel was very good, rooms clean well laid out, staff was helpful except for one thing. I had a drunk try to get into my room by mistake. Tried key for 10 minutes and I told him he had wrong room. 30 minutes later at midnight the front desk calls and wakes me up to confirm who I am and when I checked in. I had checked in Friday afternoon and this was Saturday night, there is no excuse for the front desk to call me at midnight to check with me on that. WhenI told the front desk clerk in the morning he just shrugged his shoulder and said, ya people get mixed up sometimes. My point is the desk clerk can see on the computer I have that room rented and check the Id of the drunk and figure it out with out waking me up.

Overall, some of the best accomodations we have had in the U. S. The staff was great, no matter what hour. The breakfast was well above par. Really enjoyed our stay and will return when visiting KC.

Clean, comfortable andquiet. No vending machines or ice cream. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place - we would definitely stay there again should we have the need.

The Hyatt Place was everything I hoped for and a whole lot more. The room had an extra living area with a pull-out bed. Very spacious room and top-notch cleanliness. I would have enjoyed an indoor pool rather than the outdoor one, but no complaints. Rooms are quiet at night and a great nigh of rest is assured. The location is excellent, with great dining and many shopping centers within a couple miles.

The Hyatt Place in Overland Park Convention Center is a good place to stay while visiting the Kansas City area. The staff were accessible, responsive, and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and we especially liked the high def television. The location was excellent, only about 20 minutes from Country Club Plaza and close to major roads. Only two complaints: the linens were a little scratchy and the bathroom was bit small. Overall, we recommend this hotel.
