I enjoyed the large screen TV and the size of the room! Very nice hotel located close to USF and Busch Gardens. Very friendly staff and clean large rooms. I enjoyed the express check-in and check-out. The continental breakfast was very nice they even had a hot breakfast available for an additional cost. I would definitely stay there again.

Quick, friendly check-in. After the game, we LOVED the late check-out the next morning. Nice, clean room. It only took about 15 minutes (if that) to get to the St. Pete Times Forum for the game and back--a great alternative to staying in the pricey hotels downtown. Very close to Busch Gardens (we could see a roller coaster from the parking lot), but no noise/traffic issues or anything of the sort. We are used to staying at the Hyatt Regency brand, but found this to be a nice alternative with a comfy Grand Hyatt bed. Nice big flat screen tv in the room on a swivel to accomodate watching in bed or on the coach in the office section of the room. Lots of tech hookups for Internet and easy to reach/utilize. Plenty of space on office desk/bar in room. Would have liked continental breakfast to stay open a little longer, but option existed to buy gourmet muffins, sandwiches, etc. for small price after breakfast ended.

Don't get me wrong The Hyatt is an excellent hotel, but this one didnt just do it for me, the front desk was very friendly but the cleaning ladies need some attitude adjusters, #1 they did a sloppy job cleaning the room, except for a day prior to our departure, im thinking they probably thought we checked out lol! The location itself its okay if you like the busch gardens but was complete pain for us having to drive from the north side of the town to the downtown area, and elsewhere, was not so sold on the neighborhood, seemed to be favored by just one group, will rather be in mix, checked out restaurants around the area and was NOT impressed by the level of customer service. Would continue to stay Hyatt but not on this location The pool area was the most part crowded but the hotel did great with providing towels right by the entryway though some people seemed not to take notice so it was slippery on the hallway. I really liked the plasma tv's in each room, just hope the hotel can invest in getting more cable channels

I stayed two nights and my room was NEVER cleaned. After the first night I did not return to the room until about 1AM. My room was not cleaned. I called the front desk and they had a poor attitude; cleaning services were not available and I was told I was SOL. Front desk staff had attitudes the entire time I was there. Room bathroom/shower had spots everywhere, it was not very clean. It was not worth the money. Traveler beware.

Location was close to Busch Gardens. Limited continental breakfast. Hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly. And the room was great. It was only a few blocks from Busch Gardens. It wasn't in the best part of the city, but I felt safe there.

Didn't spend much time there, but I can sum up what matters most in a few words: Check in was a breeze, even though the kiosks didn't work for my reservation. The room was spacious, clean, well decorated and comfortable (including the beds), offering amenities such as an extra large flat screen and fridge! We made a reservation for the hotel again in December, before we even checked out as we can't imagine a better qualtiy for the price around!

The stay at this hotel was very good overall. Great location very close to favorite restaurants and main attractions. Five minutes to Busch Gardens & Adventure Island. 30-45 minutes to the beaches. Kids enjoyed the stay. Staff very friendly and professional. Only concern was the food which overall was good only offer the basics (Cereal, Toast, bagels, juice, fruit, yougurt, coffee, tea, etc). Everything else you had to pay (eggs, bacon, etc). Overall, location very clean, bed was comfortable and great place for a family of 4. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

First I booked this hotel because at the hotels website,it stated that it was .5 miles to Busch Gardens and because I had no car rented we would be traveling by foot. When we checked in, they handed us a map to Busch Gardens and it said it was 1.59 miles. The entrance to get in was probably another .5 mile or so. We walked briskly (~4mph) and it took us slightly over 30 minutes to get there. Second, I noticed on the door that it stated it was an Amerisuites property which was more realistic than a Hyatt although it may be one and the same. The room had a slight musty smell and the carpet needed vacuuming, and there was hair in the tub. After each shower, I was ankle deep in water that drained extremely slow and I stayed on the top floor. The Fitness (Room or Gym) consisted of 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical trainer and 1 recumbent bike. If one wants to stay closer to Busch Gardens there is a LaQuinta Inn just adjacent to the property at the intersection of Busch Blvd and McKinney. In addition, there was only 1 elevator that was working during my stay.

It was a great experience staying there and it was perfect location. I liked everything about the hotel.

My family and I had problem with toilet leaking. Toilet papers were like sand paper. Cheap continental breakfast that did not include waffles or pancakes, but they were available for sale. It seem like the Hyatt hotel chain has decided to go the Air line way of cutting costs, but they are not affected by gas prices!

I came to Tampa for Business and brought my family. They went to Busch Gardens (up the street) and what a pleasant surprise that we all loved the hotel. Hyatt Place is a great chain (clean, friendly, and lots of free extras!)

The Hyatt Place Tampa Busch Gardens wAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, the rooms were dirty and musky smelling (non-smoking). The Showers provided lots of cold to warm water at verious times of the day and never had hot water. The pool was not heated and VERY dirty, with sticks and pine needles all in and around pool area. The location was convenient and the staff attempted to be somewhat helpful.

Clean good rate for accommodation. The lobby smells too strong of febreeze.

We wanted to stay close to Busch Gardens and after researching hotels in the area, I chose Hyatt Place, it has received some good reviews from other guests. It is only a couple miles from the park. The only problem I had with our room was the carpet was stained, the Front desk offered to change our room, but we decided against it,otherwise the room was very clean and comfortable. We only stayed for two days but during that time everyone who worked there was very nice and friendly.

I was pleased with the room, very clean, nice decor, great bed, nice layout. Bathroom was very clean. The dining options here are non-existant, though. They offer a continental breakfast which was limited, but judging from the number of people rushing to it like it's their last meal, you would not know it. Dining options were interesting as it was at the front desk, literally. It was connected to the front desk, so the same personnel working the ront desk was your waiter for a counter type seating for food. If check-in was busy, you had to share time with them for service. We went out to eat most of the time, anyway. That was my only complaint, really. All in all, a very good value. If you were going to Busch Gardens, its right there, not far away. There is a University mall for shopping within walking distance of the hotel, as well as a few restaurants around the block.

It provided continental breakfast and it had a flat screen TV. There was some damage to the furniture and the elevators were way to slow. Very nice place overall. Great location to Busch Gardens. Very clean and secure whenI was visiting. Good price for the hotel as well.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. xxx at front desk greeted us and showed us the hotel when we arrived. She mentioned where to park for ultimate safety in the event that we were out late. While the area is safe it is in a major city in a bustling section of North Tampa. You will be all of 5 minutes from Busch Gardens (you can see the roller coasters from the end of the driveway), only a few minutes from any restaurant you might want (Carrabbas Italian, Chipotle Grill, Asian, Vietnamese, Tia's Tex-Mex, really...you name it). The University Mall is 5 minutes down the street and it is huge and has some great USF and Baseball clothing for inexpensive prices. Complementary breakfast included various cereals (hot and cold), yogurt, fresh fruit, Starbucks coffee, tea, juices, various bread options. You could order other freshly prepared breakfast items on-screen or with the front desk but we didn't think it was necessary. The pool is clean though not huge and there is no hot tub but this is not listed as a full service hotel so we didn't expect one. The rooms are large for our family of three w/ the pull out sofa a fine bed for our six year old. Bathrooms were small and not yet remodeled but we were aware of that from the beginning. The whole room was cleaned thoroughly daily. Everyone was friendly and helpful and we encourage anyone going to the area to try this hotel. More than met our expectations and standards.

Modern, clean, comfortable beds, big TV. Bathroom was a little small.

Spacious room with couch and free wireless internet access. I would've liked the beds to be separated in a another room from the couch for those that want to sleep with others still up.
