Dragged in at 2 a.m. due to plane delays (was due at midnight)to find "no room at the inn" because of too many stay-overs and nobody available to get room ready. After apologies and promise to return pre-payment, desk clerk drove me one block to Cambria Suites where nice mini-suite was available at no cost to me (of course). I am handicapped, use a walker and have helper dog in tow - and luggage.

It was very attractive. Nothing. This is a very nice hotel. It appears to be new or newly updated. I like the suite setup as it is comfortable no matter what time of day.

I stayed here for one month for job training. Overall, the staff was very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast bar was good but could use some variety. Shuttle drivers pleasant. Rooms were pretty much sound proof considering your right across the freeway for MSP. Rooms definatly need some upgrading but were cleaned everyday. Front desk staff was very friendly and the housekeeping staff were all very polite and accomadating!

We had a great stay at the hotel. We wanted to go to the mall for dinner and shopping and it was very convenient. We've also stayed there twice before for access to the Minneapolis airport. I think a new and refreshing twist in the class of more affordable hotels.

Great location for visiting either the Mall of America or access to the airport.

We stayed here for my daughter's 16th b'day - a quick trip with friends to visit Mall of America. The rooms were awesome and it was nice to have 2 double beds and a pull out sofa. Because the hotel recently changed hands, everything was fresh & new. Very contemporary decor which gives it a lot of elegance. All of the staff were amazing - building services, front desk, housekeeping and shuttle drivers. The shuttle to the airport & Mall of America were always on time. Although the hotel is located near the airport, the plane noise did not affect our sleep. If we ever head out that way again we will definitely stay here.

The Hyatt Place was a really nice hotel. I would definitely stay there again. The rooms were huge and had a great layout for a family with a large living room area. The rooms were very clean too. The kids loved the pool area as they had fun toys; balls, b-ball hoop and pool noodles, to play with. The front desk staff was really friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the morning was great. We were minutes from the MSP airport with no noise to remind you of that fact, as well as minutes from the Mall of America without having to stare at it. No complaints from us!

The staff went above and beyond and was very helpful to me and my children. My kids and I were greeted by a friendly helpful staff that continued to be helpful throughout the trip. It is a very nice and clean hotel and you can be provided with pretty much anything you need. The beds were comfortable and the food was wonderful. I wish all hotels took as much time to provide this quality of hospitality.

Room itself was one of the best ever. Super clean. Awesome beds. Nicely decorated. Large hi def flat screen TV. Was set up like a suite, with semi- separated sleeping and living area. Living area had a large L-shaped sofa, dining table and kitchenette with sink, refrigerator and coffeemaker. No microwave. Staff were super. Free breakfast included cereals, fruit, bagels and other bread-type items, yogurt and beverages, but you had to pay extra for hot items, like egg dishes or waffles. Didn't have time to check out fitness center, but the pool experience was not a good one. The water temp was very, very cold. Plus no hot tub to warm up in!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent continental breakfast. First time ever to stay at a Hyatt Place. Desk staff was very friendly & helpful. Rooms were clean & very roomy. Would definitely stay at a Hyatt Place again.

The room was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. My daughter actually video taped it to show to her friends. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Bring your own lotion, as the hotel only supplies shampoo and cream rinse. I think the 40 - 50" TV was the kicker for us. The living room had a huge sitting area with a playpen-like sofa. Breakfast was minimal but did offer a cook to order for a fee. Small 24-hour snack area so you never need to be hungry, no matter how late you arrive.

Likes: Location,Shuttle, Friendly staff, large rooms, Dislikes - very few channels on TV, no hot tub, no dining options close

Lovely, modern but comfortable decor. Very nice, contemporary decor, clean, quiet, conveniently located to airport, other hotels, restaurants and facilities. No restaurant on premises but coffee and snack bar (ala Starbucks) in hotel. Voucher for neighboring hotel restaurant (gorgeous) given by hotel staff when we requested a nearby steakhouse.

Very modern look and spacious. Very pleased with the room. Fire alarm went off at 7:00 am had to walk down 5 flight of stairs in pjs to the outside no one came out to tell us what was going on. This hotel was very nice. The room was spacious and had a very homey feel. However, we did not appreciate the fire alarm going off at 7:00 am and having to go outside in pjs only because someones room flooded, which set off the sprinklers in the room below, which automatically set off the fire alarm...no explanation was given until we personally asked at check out and denied any compensation for the inconvenience. In fact the staff laughed when I asked how I would be compensated. I would have at least liked to have been told what happened to assure my family was safe to reenter the hotel. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Clean, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere in a great location. Excellent service, friendly staff willing to go an extra mile to make our stay a great on. Weird stains on the decorative brown pillows.

Large room with seating area and bed area with swivel TV! Plus personal hotel tour from staff - GREAT! It was beyond our expectations. We would recommend this hotel for anyone. They greeted us with coupons for the mall, schedules, and a personal tour of the hotel. Everyone was friendly. Room was clean and had everything we'd want. Very nice and healthy continental breakfast - no donuts and cheap stuff - fresh fruit, lots of options. Great place to stay!

Room was unlike the usual hotel room, loved the upscale amenities. The halls could have smelled better. Very romantic room, the furniture was NICE, fresh and clean. The work out area was GREAT as well, the equipment was updated. The employees were very friendly and the atmosphere calming. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family!
