There was such a welcoming ambience when we walked in the front door, and when we walked into our room we thought they had given us a suite by mistake. The interior design of the entrance area was super - the checkin desk/deli/bar was very homey and friendly. I could not comment on the pool or exercise room as we did not use them.

Very clean non-smoking room - front desk people very professional. Food. Will certainly stay here again . Except for the food , everything was excellent .

Very clean facility and congenial and helpful personnel. In a quiet area away from expressway traffic. Rooms were well appointed. Loved the flat screen TV.

We drove over 300 miles in the morning to attend friend's funeral which lasted into the late afternoon. We were exhausted when we checked into the hotel. The outside looks good but when we enetered the lobby, it smelled like all of the employees had bad gas. Check in was quick and easy but the smell continued into the hall way and in the elevator. We were given a room on the 4th floor. The room appeared neat and modern but there was also a smell in the room and the bathroom had not been cleaned. There was a used bar of soap in the shower. The shower curtain was wet and the tub had a lot of hair in it. We were switched to three different rooms, all had same bathroom problems, some with the toilets unfluished, hair in the tubs and sinks and unclean. Out of desperation, we asked for a refund and had to find another hotel. It was an unwelcome end to an already bad day! The front desk staff said that they were training a new cleaning crew. Would not stay again!!!!

Very pleased with the room. The continental breakfast got a little crowded- but the rooms were very clean, very spacious- over all I WILL stay there again. Loved the Hyatt. In the same complex with the mall and lots of restaurants. Perfect location.

It was very nice and elegant. I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel. It met all my needs as well as desires. Room was spacious and allowed me and my guest to have our space. The 42 inch TV that was HD was a great unexpected bonus. I am totally convinced that this hotel will he one of my favorites from here on.

It was a very nice hotel and very polite staff but they were overbooked. By the time I arrived at 11:30 that evening with two small children and four adults, they did not have my 2 double bed room. We had people sleeping on the floor.

Hotel was very clean and quiet. Beautiful view of the mountains. We were able to see the July 4th fireworks from our room. This was an overnight stay. Near the Mall and lots of restaurants. Recommend for family stay. Just minutes from downtown Roanoke. You may not want to breakfast at the Hotel due to small sitting area.

The room was large with desk, sofa, nice TV-but dirty bathroom. The bathtub looked as if someone washed a greasy engine in the tub. I took a towel and rubbed the dirt off the side. When I brought it to the front desks attention they said they would have a look at it while I was at dinner. Upon my return it appeared someone had rinsed the tub out. However, I could still rub dirt and scum off the side.

The hotel staff was very cordial and polite They desperately need to get room service The rooms are very modern and well laid out. The free internet means that you stay connected to the office / friends via e-mail. The price was very agreeable. This was my second visit to this hotel - I have absolutley no regrets.

This hotel is undergoing modernization; remodeling began in January 2008 and is ongoing in the lobby area. We had some problems with the first room we were given (electrical problems) but were assigned a different room on request. Location is great (behind a mall). The room was great and the beds were very comfortable. The 42 in flat screen TV (swivels between bed and sofa) with DVD and laptop input plugs were a plus. We liked the decor. On the downside the ongoing construction left the lobby a mess and we were not able to use video on demand (hotel TV has 18 channels which is a negative). The breakfast (included) was minimal (no pastries, limited selection). Once construction is finished this hotel will be wonderful and as it is we would stay again.

It was very trendy, easily accessible, and the data port was so easy to use! No restaurant.

Beautiful, clean hotel. They have electronic check-in and check-out in the lobby which made things very easy. The rooms are wonderful. The beds are comfortable, the room was spotless. The 42" HDTV was great. I will definitely stay at the Hyatt Place again. A++++ quality. The hotel is right at the mall, so you have numerous restaurants, and places to go. You want to stay here!

We stayed here one night on our way to PA. We arrived right at check in time with two young children (18mo. and 6). This place was a dream come true! The indoor pool is huge and on a rainy cold afternoon, it was the perfect place for the kids to burn off energy. Because of the mini fridge and kitchen we were able to save money and eat in our room. But if we had wanted to there are many restaurants in walking distance. The location was great. With the mall, retaurants, and a Super walmart all a minute away. The free continental breakfast was great for the price, complete with a belgian waffle maker. the room was clean and very big, plenty of room to set up the pack and play. I would stay her again with out a doubt.

Dramatically improved since last stay when it was Ameri Suites. Does not apply - we loved it. Staff was exceptional, facility was great, something for every one and great location.

I was really shocked with the set up of the room and the cleanliness. I have stayed in other hotels for the same price, in which I was very dissapointing. The check in should call and ask before sending someone up to the room.

The hotel was very clean and the size of room was great for price. Can't think of anything. Everything I needed was at this hotel - A+.

Very upscale. This hotel was actually a mini-suite, with all upscale furnishings, personal care products, etc. Food and drink (including alcoholic drinks) was available 24 hours per day. We really liked it.
