I choose this Hyatt because of the price and the location near the airport. I just l u v the comfort of the Grand Bed, and the a/c came in handy after coming from the beaches. This my 2nd time and I am spoiled, Thanks You. I will be back.

We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise. We found the female front desk clerk totally rude. First, when we called from the airport for directions to the shuttle, twice she gave us misinformation and caused us extra time and walking distance. Second when we actually arrived she was handed the reservation number and advised that "with a last name like yours, I wouldn't want to announce myself either". The woman should be fired. Hyatt had a promotion on where if you stayed two nights in December you received another night free. After complaining about the staff, they deducted the free night promotion but gave me another free night with no expiration. Both the hotel management and Hyatt head office have been informed of this clerk. Hope she was fired. The hotel room, itself, was very nice. Extremely comfortable bed and well appointed. The room was not properly insulated from sound. You can hear everything that happens down the hall and outside the room. I would stay here again provided I didn't have to deal with this very rude clerk.

I was very peased with the room . Automated checkin and check out was also nice. No lines no waiting. The only down side was it was hard to locate.

Business trip. Adequate for needs. Friendly staff. Nicely appointed and laid out room. But, the room smelled like a locker room and the AC was inadequate to handle South Florida humidity.

The hotel rooms were very large and clean. Needed a better breakfast and it should be open until 10 AM. Great location for our cruise ship. Good location for a good place to eat. Very nice rooms with a great television.

We went EVERYWHERE, Alligator alley, Horse track, Boat tours, etc. What we didn't like was the distance from everything. Luckily Hertz gave us and attraction/coupon book, there were none out and readily available at the hotel. Next time I'll stay in central Miami since we seemed to end up there daily.

Convenient to cruise lines, free transport to/from airport & cruise terminal. We stayed one night before our cruise.Our room was spacious & clean.The large flat screen TV was great! We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. There was also free internet access. It was nice to have the free shuttle service also.

Contemporary decor and very clean. Nothing. Great look and very clean. Stayed in a suite with a total of six in our group and had plenty of room even with our luggage. Great LCD TV in the room also.

We had part of a day to do a bit of exploring. The staff suggested that we walk or have the shuttle take us to the Water Taxi on New River. Great idea! It will drop you off and pick you up at eleven stops, giving you access to shopping on Las Olas, fine dining, beaches, or just viewing the mansions and megayachts.

The room was more like a suite than a regular room - it even had a sectional sofa. Staff was not very friendly and seemed overworked.

This particular Hyatt Place is a little secluded than most but very convienient to the airport and highways. Also just a few minutes drive to great restaurants and entertainment. I was in town for a Christmas Vacation and was there to relax and play golf. I enjoy secluded! There rooms are the nicest and most comfortable so I stay at Hyatt Places whenever I can. The flat screens are nice.

The staff went above and beyond to meet the needs of our entire party of 22. Pool was small and outdoors. Very accommodating. They picked us up at the airport within a reasonable amount of time. They took us to a local restaurant and picked us up later. And the next day they took us to the pier for our cruise. The rooms were large and well furnished. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel again.

This hotel is good for what we used it--an overnight stay before we embarked on our cruise ship the next day. We arrived close to 1:00 a.m., no one to help with luggage,complimentary breakfast lasted only until 9:30 a.m., which we missed. Check out was at noon, and we had to wait approximately 30-45 minutes for shuttle service to port, but driver was pleasant and informative. There was a drugstore and some restaurants about a five-minute or so walk from hotel on a major highway. If you had a car, many other types of stores located on the highway within a short ride. Room was clean, had small pool and coffee/snack bar area (which we did not use); all the common areas seemed clean.

Within walking distabce of major attractions and easy access by taxi/buses etc. Overall enjoyed our stay, staff was excellent, continental breakfast great, convenient shuttle to and from, great.

The Hyatt Place was extremely close to the Port Everglades (Ft. Lauderdale) cruise terminal so it was extremely handy for a late arrival the night before our cruise. The hotel even has a free (but very busy and full) shuttle or you can take a very affordable cab ride to the terminal. The room was quite large, with a separate living area and sleeping area and had a very large flat screen tv. There was a very nice breakfast with most items. The hotel seemed fresh, clean and new with modern decor. It was a very convenient and pleasant experience. Not much appeared to be in easy walking distance and the neighborhood is industrial, but if you are using the cruise terminal, this is a great choice.
