Last minute decision to stopover in Sedona this past week - hotel was a great find. Perfect base for hiking with amenities for relaxing afterwards (pool, jacuzzi, fire). Staff has little to improve - very attentive, friendly, courteous and helpful (true local knowledge - Thanks [...]!) without being intrusive. We had a late check-in and were tired - reception breezed us through. We stayed in a beautiful new, studio 1 BR w/o any problems. Our balcony had restricted views but we got in plenty on our day hikes and through public areas on the hotel grounds. We missed a late checkout but were welcomed to enjoy the pool and shower facilities on our last day.

The hotel was beautiful, great central location, amazing views and very kid friendly. We has some confusion with our billing - Orbitz had quoted one price and we were presented with another ... still trying to figure that one out. The pool was perfect for us, with a small children's pool located away from the bigger "grown-up" pool. All in all, I was very happy with the hotel.

It was great. It's a timeshare so they want to schedule you for a tour and sales pitch but they weren't pushy when I said we couldn't do it. But don't try asking for information from anyone because they'll try to talk you into a sales tour.

Very pleased with the hilltop location, close to the streets below but away from the noise with a great view.

Hyatt Pinon Pointe was a great hotel. Scenery was beautiful. Our room was great. It was a one bedroom unit with kitchen, living room, dining area and 2 decks (one off the living room and one off the bedroom) There was some construction going on behind our room (so it cut into the scenery but did not disturb us) Firepit at the pool area was a great gathering area (we went with 2 other couples and met several other couples while sitting around the firepit

My wife and I had a single room and bath at the Hyatt Pinon Pointe which was quite sufficient. We expecially love the location directly downtown in Sedona near the restaurants and shopping. We used the gym, pool and hot tub frequently and loved it as well as the absolutely beautiful desert view.

The hotel was lovely and the studio room was perfect with a little patio of your own. Great experience. Very centrally located.

Our stay at Hyatt Pinon Pointe was excellent! The location is great, they have a nice view of the Red Rock. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom has a 'his and hers' vanity which was so convenient. It is just walking distance to downtown Sedona where the shops, restaurants and offices of tour companies are located. I would definitely stay at Hyatt Pinon Pointe again.

The Hyatt Pinion Pointe was an exceptional experience. Our suite was the size of a two-bedroom apartment with all the amenties, including paper towels in the kitchen. The master bath was a relaxing, spa-like experience with jetted tub, separate shower and double sink vanity. The location was excellent with shopping and dining just a short walk away. We would definitely recommend this facility.

1. The room we were given had one light source which was a sliding glass door. There were no other windows. The sliding door faced the pool area. There was a black out curtain covering the window and nothing else. If we wanted to open the curtain and have sunlight in the room, the guests around the pool area could see into the room. We had to keep the curtain closed when we were in the room. 2. The tennis courts were under construction and my husband wanted to play tennis. We were not told of this in advance. 3. There was construction going on as they are adding on to the hotel for time shares. Even without our problems, I would never rate this Hyatt a 4 star property! The room are decorated cheaply and ugly, and it appeared that it was built as a two room suite that they converted into 2 separate rooms--ours being a weirdly configured bedroom--long and narrow. The hotel is a motel design with a tiny lobby.

We found the Hyatt Pinion Pointe to be a good value. The condo suite was large and had a walk out balcony with a partial view of the surrounding red rocks. Parking was convenient. The condos are located on the Y intersection in Sedona, close to the art galleries, restaurants and shopping. The condos have an adjacent shopping area with a good breakfast cafe and a Starbucks. The Sedona information center is also adjacent to the condo complex. Check-in is like a typical hotel with a few minutes of polite offers for shopping coupons or a helicopter ride - to entice you to sit though a 1.5 hour condo sales pitch during your stay. We declined and were not pressured. The condo suites are located downhill from the main complex and are not handicap accessible. Be prepared to carry luggage up and down steep stairs.

Everything was perfect regarding the employees, the room, the site and the location. The only problem was that the pool, the spa, the fitness center, etc... closed at 9:00. When you visite, come back to the hotel, have super and you wish to relax using the hotel's amenities, it just doesn't work. Oops! it is 9:00 and you didn't have time to enjoy. To bad because for the rest, everything was perfect. They should correct this situation that should not be seasonnal because us to we wish to enjoy.

This is a timeshare property and its emphasis is more on sales than guest services. The small pool was nice and had a spectacular view. The rooms are adjoining, with very thin walls. The staff was constantly in the adjoining room our first day, and then a family with several small, unhappy children moved in for the reminder of the trip. Location was great, albeit on a busy intersection. Walking to shopping, restaurants could be tough if you are mobility challenged. Don't stay here if you prefer a hotel atmosphere.
