Room refrigerator would be helpful. Shower floor was slippery, and I didn't like the ceiling shower head which was too high to adjust.

Great location. Close to the wharf. Elevators were a little slow. The rooms were beautiful. The lobby was nice. The bar was friendly (expensive).

This hotel was in a great location for Fishermans Wharf and the Trolley. Would definitely stay here again. Hotel was very modern, staff very helpful. We took taxi from airport to hotel $50, and didn't need a car. Parking at hotel very expensive per day.

We chose San Francisco for our Honeymoon and then chose to stay at the Hyatt. The location was great for the Fisherman's Warf and surrounding area. The room was very nice. The hotel was much more "modern" than what we are used to but very nice. [...] at the front desk was wonderful and even had a bottle of champagne chilling for us when we arrive back to our room from dinner. Very thoughtful. We toured the entire area and found out hotel to be in a very convenient location. Wish there had not been another building in front of us so that we had a view of the bay.

Outrageously good price andin an awesome location. Charging for wireless. Beautiful area, rooms, friendly staff and great help at the concierge desk. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

What's Good: walk to Fisherman's Wharf, Staff very kind and helpful. What's Bad: DIRTY bathroom with terrible lighting and no fan, no microwave, no refrigerator, have to ask for clean towels and bed linens if you stay over, they do not automatically provide these. Room layout makes it so you walk quite a distance to the elevator on your floor. Coming back to San Francisco next month and will NOT consider staying at this hotel again.

Then hotel staff was the best. Accomodating in every sense of the word. You ask, you got. Location was perfect for self guided tours. Regular tours and air port transportation was readily available and on time.Rooms very comfortable, clean and restful.Would go there again and again.

Convenient location to all Fishermans Wharf attractions, easy walk to everything. I do have to say that particular Hyatt is not plush like other Hyatts I have stayed in. They do have a nice hot tub and heated pool and if you want that this is the place to stay. If a hot tub is not important to you than theres not much difference here between this Hyatt and the Holiday Inn Express which is across the street. The hotel restaraunts is irrelevent in this area since there are excellent restaurants all over the place, probabaly 50 of them with in 3 blocks. Parking is $45 a nite and if you are staying to sight see for a few days a car is the last thing you want, taking taxis is cheaper than parking by far. I would stay again for the hot tub if I was going to FW again

We had one small room in what we thought would be a quiet spot. The room was small but very adequate for us. There was only one chair but the chamber maid ordered another for us. That was a plus. The location is terrific. One side (two blocks away) was Fisherman's Wharf. The other side was the beginning stop for the Cable Cars. We walked to Trader Joe's (a favorite--it's new to the East Coast). Parking is very expensive -$45. We didn't use the internet because the price is too high. The noise issue? A jack hammer was fixing the hot tub outside our room for two mornings. Felt like we were at the dentist. Staff was very helpful & friendly.

The concierge was great and very helpful. The restaurant in the hotel was extremely overpriced. We enjoyed our stay here andthe staffwas very nice and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf. The location was perfect and the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met. The rooms were clean and updated, but I will say the walls were very thin. Our neighbor's phone rang at 6:00 in the morning and we could hear everything he said...might be a good thing to keep in mind. The shower door was interesting - it was just a pane of glass about half the width of the shower. Most of the time, the floor got wet when we showered. We went to Knuckles a couple of times for drinks/snacks. The service and food was fine for bar food. I would highly recommend the Hollywood Cafe across the street for breakfast - the delicious french toast and fresh fruit was only $8.95 (coffee included)!

The Hyatt has always met our needs since they are in great locations. Our only problem this time was the picket line outside the hotel one morning and it caused my husband to spill coffee on himself. He was not a happy person. Later that morning the picketing disappeared. If it had continued, we would have had to reconsider our stay at the Hyatt. Other than that incident, it was pleasurable. We try to take a vacation once a year and in this financial environment, we were lucky to enjoy our San Francisco trip.

Stayed 4 days in Oct, 2008 and had a very pleasurable experience at this hotel. The entire staff; front desk, bellmen, valets and the restaurant staff ( Knuckles ) made us feel as if they were truly glad we were staying with them. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly, cheerful and helpful. The location is great for the tourist things and for transporation and we would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful bathroom/shower. Very expensive parking. Beautifully designed hotel near to the Fisherman's wharf and to public transport. Service was good, immediate help with luggage and very friendly staff. A drawback were the high overnight parking rates, we have parked our car elsewhere in the city for less than half the price. They have bottles water available in the room but charge 5 dollar per bottle. This is clearly signed so this was not a problem for us.

Our favorite place to stay in San Fran!

Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and the hotel was very clean. The swimming pool was ok, but it did the trick to wear out my 3 year old daughter who was full of energy. We thought the cost of parking was a little outrageous (about $45 plus tax), but it was worth it to have the location and not have to worry about parking in an unknown area. Overall, we were extremely happy with the hotel and we had a fun trip.

The employees at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. My room did not have a bath tub. My experience from the moment I pulled up to the door was fantastic, all of the staff was warm and welcoming.
