Combo business/personal trip - everything is handy if you have a car when staying at this hotel. There is excellent shopping and many reasonable, good restaurants nearby, and getting into DC is relatively simple, too (bring a GPS system, if possible!) The desk staff is not knowledgeable about area, so seek your own info. Would be nice if rooms had mini-fridges, but rooms are unusually large and clean with excellent beds, nice sofa/seating area, good desk, great desk chair (bathrooms are small, though). Strongly scented amenities may bother some people (lotion, shampoo, conditioner, soaps). Housekeeping staff VERY noisy in halls in early a.m. and thru most of day, however - inconsiderate to say the least. Beautiful pool and sunning area; nice exercise room. Business ctr VERY expensive; charge for wireless internet unless in pkg. Good breakfast buffet (was in our pkg); not unfairly priced if not included. Excellent wait staff/very attentive. Nice lobby fountain and seating (coffee bar and regular bar there, too). Patio is beautiful and convenient. Large parking lot; no problems with that! Give yourself PLENTY of time to check out in A.M. (understaffed and not fast).

Friendly, convenient, close to shopping, traffic around area was easy flowing. Security was poor.

I have a really good experience, hotel was really nice, clean and close to everything!

the location was great, there was alot to do just a couple of miles away. As far as the stay at the hotel, the staff was very friendly and the place itself was clean. I would definately stay there again and or recommend to anyone.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the jacquizzi was extremely relaxing and the hotel itself was close enough to the train to get to Washington DC without dealing with the traffic and congestion of driving. The only downside was we had to go out to do anything because the food was way too expensive. Coffee was offered in the room but there wasn't any milk or sugar. The staff were polite, courteous, and helpful making the stay a delight. This hotel is definitely geared toward the business traveller or those who like to eat out a lot and have the budget to do so because there was no supermarket around and no refridgerator to store food. On the upside there were two Starbucks and that made getting morning coffee all the more pleasureable. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and will probably stay there again when we bring the whole family.

Clean, friendly, easy access. Expensive restaurant, hard to figure out which restaurants were which and what hours they were open.

I was nervous about the place based on the "wretched" review from last April. The staff was very nice, almost tripping over each other to help. Gave me a tour of the place, explained everything including pool, business center and an employee even offered to scrape the ice off my entire car!! Of course, I took him up on it as it was sleeting outside!! I'm going again to DC and I will be staying there again; I want to bring my wife later this month. Outstanding value.

This hotel would be okay for people without kids. I thought they had a continental breakfast but they told me it was not in my package. I didn't realize I had booked a package. Most of the staff's english was not very good. I won't ever go to another Hyatt, given a choice.

Neat and clean and top notched! Why not have free WiFi instead of $12.95 a day.

We stayed for about three nights and we had a blast. The staff was great, breakfast was very delicious, and the rooms were very nice and comfortable.

For a Hyatt, I expected close to perfection. It is a beautiful hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, although the furniture was a little dinged, older. Breakfast was delicious!!!! Excellent location near a variety of great restaurants, mall, and hwy. Close range to DC. I would stay again or recommend it to a friend. Price was incredible.

I booked a non-smoking room and was placed in smoking--room stinks--carpet nasty-no relief from front desk--told they would ""upgrade"" to a non-smoking room later--didn't think getting what I paid for was an ""upgrade""

Upon check in there was confusion about our requested rooms. We had asked for two double bed rooms with connecting door. Called hotel 3 days prior and was told that was no problem. Upon check in we were told that the hotel does not have any connecting rooms with both being doubles on premises.our ac unit in the room did not work but we were upgraded to a suite for the entire stay. The staff was always friendly and did their best to make our stay enjoyable. The free shuttle to the metro also help us greatly.

Bigger rooms were good to have space for crib and play. Had to special request fridge in room (asked multiple times).

For the price, you can't beat this hotel. The full breakfast is a home run as is the indoor pool and gym. The staff couldn't have been more complying. The rooms were all updated in pleasing color palates and the beds were very comfortable. All in all a great stay. We're definitely coming back.

The room was beautiful and spacious. The service was perfect. I can't believe I had such a great deal on a first class room. I paid less for a top notch place than what I would've paid for a "discount" motel or inn.

Now hotels are so standardized, it is hard to remember anyone of rooms you used.

Very impressed the second I walked into the hotel. I was not expecting much due to the great deal on price. The staff was very friendly, the room was large and had a seating area, desk/work station, plenty of feather pillows on the bed. The ONLY thing wrong with the room was that there was no microwave or refrigerator. The room was pitch-black at night... perfect for sleeping. The first night, I had the fan for the airconditioner set on auto so it kept shutting on and then off, and every time it came on, the walls creaked loudly. It woke me up every time. The second night, I had set the fan on low and slept better than I had in weeks! Perfect room for sleeping.

The bedroom suites and restaurant was very nice. The hot tub and pool close too early on the weekends and open too late on Sundays.
