Description:
The first impression of the Hualien Far Glory Hotel is its feel as a Victorian Palace, mainly due to its abundant use of rich Victorian style architecture, bringing forth a character of diversity and industrialization. For example, the octagonal central hall makes use of sunrays which seep through the windows, creating an effect of a diamond like roof top, bringing forth a striking impression of a palace standing on top of the mountains during both day and night. Other special designs include the Glitter Palace which makes use of the surrounding scenery as its environment, and the Poets and Artists Garden which centers on romantic themes from the works of Victorian age poets and artists and many more, which all display the special care which has been taken in creating these designs.
