very handy to get to Disneyland entrance, fun pool for kids, nice staff([...])!! Room smelled funny when air conditioner was running. Bathroom was very outdated and very small, kind of yucky! Very noisy next to freeway.

I liked the proximity to Disneyland and the food and atmosphere at Mimi's. The maid service was excellent. And you can buy beer in the hotel store. The room was not ready at check-in time. Clean rooms and decent beds. Good maid service. Our room had two sinks, one outside the bathroom - very nice feature. Quiet even though it was full of Disneyland families. If you don't like the sound of the freeway, the rooms facing the freeway might bother you. The TV is nothing to crow about and movies are expensive, so don't plan on watching it. With two pools (one of them a kids' play area) and a hot tub, it's a great place to take a break during the busy early afternoons at Disneyland.

nice place, very clean. Front desk very helpful. They keep rasing their prices. They will soon price themselves out of my range.Wonderful smoke free hotel.

We are really picky when it comes to hotels and this place passed the test. We stayed with our two children and they really liked staying there. The walk to Disneyland was about 5 minutes. We stayed in two rooms when we were there. We arrived one night before our reservation and stayed in the room with two doubles. These rooms do not have microwaves. The rooms with two queens have microwaves. I would stay here again.

Great above average hotel. Best for children 10 and under. Not all that close to Disneyland.

The Castaway Cove was a huge hit with the kids, ages 7 and 17 months. The shower in our room was not working properly. We loved this hotel, my 2 daughters loved the Castaway Cove, there was something for both of them to enjoy, they had a blast and thats all that counts. It is very close to Disneyland and you can see some of the fireworks from the park at the hot tub.

I loved this hotel. The pool was warm, the slides were fun for the kids and the hot tub was HOT! True, there was a lot of traffic noise from the 101. I kept the fan blowing at night and it drowned out a good amount of the noise. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the beds were soft with lots of pillows. There was a safe in the room (very nice!). The food at Mimi's was decent and they gave us a coupon on our first visit so the kids ate for free on our next visit. The proximity to Disneyland was outstanding. My 6-year-old had no trouble with walking there and back after being at Disneyland for 10 hours. I would stay there again. Highly recommended!

Very clean andgreat landscape. Most games were broken in game room, too many shady areas in adult pool. Staff made it easy for check-in and check out. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Fun for both kids and adults. Awesome landscaping throughout the hotel.

This is a very nice hotel with some very nice rooms, but there are also rooms that are not as nice. I have stayed at this Howard Johnson before and was very satisfied, but on this trip my husband and I happen to get one of the smallest and noisiest rooms on the property. I would suggest when you book your room, asked not to be placed on the freeway side of any building. Otherwise, if you are going to the Disneyland Resort, it is within walking distance of the parks, and also with in walking distance to several cafes and fast food restaurants. The room was clean and it is a GREAT place for kids with a wonderful pool area and water playground!

My brother & myself check in Sept 7th for 5 nights. We had seperate rooms in 2 different buildings. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The grounds were very well maintained & the rooms were also maintained very well. The location was excellent. Next to Inter.5 & next to Harbor Blvd. I would talk briefly with the counter staff re Disneyland, restaurants etc.and again very helpful. I give this hotel 2 thumbs way up for the holiday traveller. I will return for a longer stay.

It was very close to Disneyland. It was not very updated and not worth. It is in a great location however they could update the hotel a bit. It is very dated and does not reflect the price tag of the hotel. But because of it is so close to Disneyland, I am sure they do not feel renovation is necessary which is a shame.

Outstanding hotel and staff. Be careful because Travelocity had us booked in rooms that were close to the very noisy I-5. Thanks to these reviews, I took warning and called the hotel itself. They kindly relocated us to Building 2- facing the pool wher there was no noise at all. Great location- close to Disney and the wonderful California Adventure park. The pool is great the kiddie splash area is new and fun for all. Great staff.
