Surprisingly larger than expected. There was plenty of room for our family of four. Pull out couch was perfect to separate the kids. Very clean and the hotel staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was adequate and held us till lunch. Overall the Howard Johnson's was a surprise and I would recommend to a friend.

Helpful front desk. Five miles from main st. Cooperstown. Grocery/McDonalds just down the road. Would definitely stay again.

The Howard Johnson Inn just south of Cooperstown was a pleasant enough plce to stay while visiting the area. It is just a short drive to all the attractions. What I liked best is that it was a new, clean hotel with great beds. It is kind of plopped in the middle of this field all by it self so it was isolated which I think would be a plus in the high season in Cooperstown.
