This was just a weekend getaway to Atlantic City and I wish I had paid a little extra and got a better hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and they did offer Continental Breakfast, but for a new hotel or reburshied hotel the furniture in the room I stayed was horrible. There appeared to be eith urine stains or it could have been coffee on the mattress on the side and the dresser draws were broken and then there was a chair that just looked disgusting with all kinds of stains on it. I have taken pictures and would like the corporate office of Howard Johnson to take a look. This is not good and I have no problem with a renovated hotel, but invest wisely, a mattress is a necessity and it should not be stained or in bed condition.

Nicer lobby then most hotels in this class inside corridors more hotel than motel feel than hotels in this class in this area.

We love the place. The room was clean. We had a hot tub in the room. Everything work. It was a little distance form the casinos. We had a Dennys rigth net door. The breakfast was free, not all that bad. The people were nice who work there. the hallways was very quiet. They came to clean the room everyday we stay and we stayed for 3 nights. The place was newly renovated so I say not a bad stay at all. Oh also the phone was free to any where in the us so that was cool.

Inside hallways for rooms. Beds seemed old and saggy. Beds were a little soft (probably because mattresses were old). Security was good and inside hallways provide protection on Absecon Blvd.

We were just there last weekend, wanted to stay somewhere close to Atlantic City and obviously, we were not happy. The hotel itself is very dingy and dirty. We arrived at night on Saturday and had to ask the front desk manager several times for the same thing before it was done. He was very rude and curt with us as well. The hotel is small and feels cramped. Our room was dark, had 3 small lamps that just did nothing to illuminate the room. We just felt very skeeved out by the entire situation, couldn't wait to leave the next day. Also, the advertise the free continental breakfast... it is served out front by the front desk and was not appetizing... The front desk manager the next morning (seemingly the wife of the man the night before) was rude and not happy to answer our questions.

Bed , pillows anddid not receive wake up call. If they would have spent less money on the aesthetics and more money on the reason you need a room, such as sleeping, I think they would be ahead of the game.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I called to say that I would be checking in late and the desk clerk was just so nice about it, he even remembered my call once I arrived. When we got in the room, there was a single bug on top of the bed, this made my friend nervous for the rest of the trip - constantly looking for bugs. Besides that, the room was very clean. The bathroom was clean and without any problems. The description for the hotel listed on this site included a gambling facility; I walked up and down the halls, looked on the maps, but never found it (granted I didn't ask the staff). We chose this hotel because it is convenient to Atlantic City and the price. The trip into the casinos was not bad at all, but navigating your way to the hotel on those Jersey roads is a little challenging. There is a Denny's only about a three minute walk away. I will probably stay in this hotel again.

Room/Bathroom were very clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. Don't know why someone would say they didn't feel safe, only way to get in was front door, which is manned 24 hrs. Felt completely safe. I would recommend for anyone who wanted to stay close to AC. Near plenty of restaurants and fast food places. Stayed during the week so rates were very reasonable, but would recommend you book online for the best price. Trains/Planes and Automobiles all in the vicinity of this hotel, didn't hear any of the noise, very quiet for such a busy area.

They advertise...NEW HOTEL. It isn't new at all. The furniture looks like it was bought at a second hand auction. The BEDS are low to the floor and the Mattresses are TERRIBLE. Please don't WASTE your money staying here.

Location decent. 3miles from AC. Run down, worn out rooms andloud paper thin walls.

"i was shocked when we arrived, hj, i thought was a reputable hotel, ha! it is privately owned and just uses the name. no ac in hallways, felt like the heat was on. not cheep enough to feel it was worth it, we stayed on a weekend and rates were up there $100 + no bargin here, hot tub wasnt to great either. only calling it like i saw it"

Room was large and very clean. We recieved a king size bed upon our arrival instead of the regular we had reservations for and the clerk was great when we asked for a first floor room, he didnt hesitate and completed our request quickly.

I was really impressed with the whole place,we got there about a hour early and there was no problem with us checking in early and the staff was great and very helpful.

Close to garden state parkway, clean, and inexpensive. Poor security, rear entrance to motel unlocked, and noisy room. I won't stay here again. The walls are paper thin, every noise is heard. The exhaust fan in the restroom sounded like a motorcycle engine with no muffler. The good points about this place are location to highway, very clean rooms and friendly staff. The hotels down the road seemed newer.
