It was great all staff were verry friendly.

Pool & hot tub. Workers were very unpleasant. Overall, the hotel was dirty and smelled bad. The service at the front desk was very bad and the phones did not work in the rooms.
Date of Stay:

This has to be one of the worst hotels that I have ever been too. The people there were very rude when questions were asked, the first one that we were given look like it had not been washed at all and they put us into the room. There hot tube was not working neither was there suna room. There cleaning staff were using very dirty water that smelled nasty and when they did upgrade use to there hotube room the hottube was way too small for the both of us. There was no view from are window and the stuff seems so old as it had rust and teh dirt was very black as if they had not washed it for years. I have had better stays and service at motels then this place it should be downgraded to a no star hotel. The only thing that was good the the food they had but that was not even there place. Overall stay away from this place there are much better places out there

The room was below my expectations. I have stayed many times at the HoJo on Highway 7, about fifteen minutes from the HoJo on Metropolitain. It is much cleaner on Highway 7. I stayed only one night, and did not use the amenities such as pool and dining room. The room was stuffy. Also the bed was too soft.

The obvious lack of maintenance upkeep in the room and the facilities. This was probably a nice motel 50 years ago. I was never more disappointed with a motel. The drape was hanging loose at one end. Tile in the bath was very poorly repaired. Toilet seat was broke. The indoor pool area hot tub did not work, sauna did not work. The out door pool looked like it did not have water in it in years. No lights in the parking area around back where I was located. It said there was a lounge. There was not one anymore.

I go to Toronto for business every two weeks, I usually stay in hotels around the * to * dollar range. This place is a total diver. The outdoor pool has a rusty gate to keep you from mistaking this algae pond for a real pool, the rooms have the noisiest heat/coolling systems I have ever heard. I had trouble finding a staff member that spoke english. And the whole place is dirty, dirty and smells like it has mold.

Room condition is very bad, smell, AC is not working right and old. Sliding door does not work, sticky and can not lock. You have to put an aluminum stick behind so people can not open it. Can not sleep at night due to broken door.

Bad smell, out of orders shower and phone, noisy Air-Conditioning. The front desk staff did not care about my complain of the room. She question why I did not ask to change the rooms. This is not service.

A very disappointing hotel. The room was old, stuffy and had a bad odor as if it hadn't been used in years. A lamp didn't work and the floor and tables were slightly dirty. Bathroom wasn't that great either. Upside of this hotel was the service which wasn't too bad at all. All in all, I wouldn't recommend staying more than one night unless you don't care about the room conditions.

Pool facilities were good andadequate breakfast. Carpets weredirty andbathroom not working well. I appreciated having outdoor patio door access but couldn't close door after settling in. Bathroom floor was wet when we arrived. Tub tap worked ok.

The HoJo was a nightmare, dirty, ugly, bad area, and stinky. Yuck. I would have thought with a HoJO name it would have been nicer.

TheAC was very cold. This hotel was one of the worst I have ever stayed at. The phone in the room was not working. So no chance for wake up calls. I had to find house keeping staff every morning to find coffee for the coffee maker in the room; they did not supply coffee when they clean the room each day. The wall paper in all public areas and in the rooms was peeling. The carpet in rooms and in public areas was buckling and was in need of replacing. The furniture in my room was mismatched, and some of the other furniture was falling apart. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I would not recommend this hotel for comfort and appeal. The price was good, but not worth it.

i had to stay on the 2nd floor no elevators i had to run a marathon around the hotel trying a person that could help me with my luggage bath room so dirty and filthy and having a nerve calling themselves a 3 star hotel they should be charge by the hospitality industry for worst hotel service ever, there is a lot more to say but don't have the time .

Location only. Was not accommodating for necessities. I was very disappointed with the accommodations, the beds were comfortable, and that is the nicest thing I can say, I will not return.

Nothing! It was dirty and disgusting. The hotel was dirty and unkempt (my grandchildren's socks were black after walking around on the room carpet), the outdoor pool had no water in it, the sidewalks had more weeds growing from them than the grass, windows/sliding glass doors were smashed or damaged, bedspreads were torn, fitness equipment (2 machines) were rusted out and not working, hot tub had garbage lying around it, etc. It was a very disappointing stay.

Easy to find. The smell was so wow cannot even explain it smelled liked someone had died. Lobby was the only thing clean my kids even asked if they can sleep in the truck.

Location and in door swimming pool. Everything looks old. Not bad for a couple of nights family stay. Considering it as a motel instead of hotel, you will feel better when you get there.
Date of Stay:

In door pool. Dirty. The room I stayed in was dirty it had garbage left in garbage cans and under the beds.
Date of Stay:

Not much. Nothing--other than location. Poor state of repair - front desk antagonistic buffet breakfast - poor.
Date of Stay:
November, 2006
Pool, internet, breakfast. Service, cleanliness. Not the best location, but free parking and a close drive to downtown Toronto. Service and cleanliness could have been better. Free wireless internett a huge plus. Also a nice pool and good free breakfast.
