The room was unclean, The blanket on the bed was disgusting. The room was noisey. The "continental" breakfast consisted of stale bagles - period. The shower had only two towels.I have dryed my dogs with better towels. This is most likely the second worst hotel I have had the misfortune of staying at. I would not recommenmd this hotel to anyone!

It was convenient to locations visited. The vent in the bathroom was clogged with dust and did not work properly. My only regret was not staying long enough to enjoy the swimming pool.

Rooms were very nice, clean. Gave you anything you asked for (extra towels and pillows) Front desk personel was very nice and helpful answering questions.

The room was nice and quiet. The pool and hot tub was really nice. Just want to let you know, DO NOT GO TO CLEARWATER BEACH!!!! There is constuction every where and there is no parking. If you do find parking, it will cost you $10. We went to Honeymoon Island and it's alot closer to the motel and it only cost you $5 for the whole day. Go north of hotel on US 19 about 1 to 2 miles and turn left on Curlew Rd. Then go to the end. It's quiet and it has a beach for the pets,too.

I liked the small refrigerator, the microwave, and the coffee maker. Great for snacks & morning coffee, even though the hotel offered continental breakfast in the lobby. The in-room safe was a very appreciated place to keep extra cash. Desk and Housekeeping staff very friendly and informative.

The pool was clean, which I appreciated. This hotel is a great value. For folks like me on a budget, this hotel was great, and the continental breakfast and clean swimming pool was appreciated.

"The front desk staff were very friendly & willing to please. However, the motel has weekly rates & the guests that occupy these rooms are not those that we would bring home to dinner. We were scared to go out into the parking lot @ night with the activities going on. Many women in tight clothes & cars coming & going. If you need a place to stay overnight & don't venture out in the evening I would reccomend."

Hotel is right on US 19. We were visiting family nearby so it was a good choice. Priced right and it had a big pool for our kids to enjoy. There is also a hot tub. Lots of fun. The staff is very helpful. My daughter forgot her teddy bear and the staff we kind to mail it back to us in New York.

The hotel staff was not friendly. They were rude and and not pleasant. Won't recommend staying at this hotel. Asked for blankets and the front desk was rude and said to come get them myself.

The hotel is old and worn out. They allow dogs if that is what you're looking for. Unfortunatley I don't have a dog so I didn't appreciate the yipping dogs heard at 5am through the walls or the dog urine smell when the bathroom got wet. The maids were also annoying as they would knock on the door at 9am when I would say I would be hear until 11am I guess they didin't understand english because they kept coming back every 5 or 10 minutes. I'll never recommend it to anyone.

I woud not have been so dissapointed in this hotel if they had not sold them selves as such a premiere Howard Johnson. It really could have been if it hadn't been right next to a car dealership that played music as loud as they could all day. Then room was nice enough, with only minimal water damage. On the positive side, the hotel was such that I didn't wish to hang around, and I really got out and saw all of Tampa and Clearwater Beach.

Nice hotel, good location but there was no hot water. No hot water. This hotel is nice and its location is nice. However, there was no hot water on 2 days of our 3 day stay. When we called the front desk on the first day the receptionist said she would call us right back, we never heard from her. On the second day without hot water, the front desk told us to right a letter because he cannot get the manager to do anything about it. Sounds like an ongoing problem.

Don't pay for the rooms they call suites. They are smaller than an average room. The room did have a small sofa sleeper but not enough room to use as a sleeper. There is a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the exterior doors. I was worried about something crawling in the room. Room was very tight and not as clean as most.

This hotel was perfect.Also the microwave and refridgerator in the room helped me save money on food.The continental breakfast was fair.The bed was fairly comfortable.Hotel beds usually kill my back.

Cheapest in the area. Dirty. Typical Howard Johnson's room that was previously used by truckers, contractors, and hillbillies who bring their pets on vacation with them.

It was right off the highway. There was a one inch gap between the hotel door and the floor to the outside. I was worried that something could have crawled or slithered inside! Staff was very helpful, rooms were clean but older. I would not have stayed here had I known about the gap between the floor and door. The bathroom was small.

Needed to update their decor and have functional equipment. I was not impressed with the hotel, and probably will not stay at a Howard Johnsons. The room was dingy and the refrigerator was not working. The bathroom tub was very old.

It was close to where I wanted to be visiting. Loud AC, broken TP holder, broken coffee pot, broken shower handle. Will not be returning to this hotel. They took a photo copy of my drivers license and I had to contact the corp. office to find out why they needed to have a copy. I understand the need to check an ID, but not copy my drivers and have my charge card information also. I was not given a receipt at check out.
