The hotel was a convenient stop mid-way from Louisiana to Austin, TX with a 4 year old. The room was clean, but the bathtub was in need of work as even with the drain plug pushed down, the water drained out while you were bathing. The carpet needed some work as well. The pool was in front of the hotel and near the traffic of the interstate and there were a lot of construction workers there which deterred us from taking our little one out to the pool. The interstate traffic was loud, but the air onditioner drowned out some of the noise. The check-in/out went off without a hitch and the location was really good with access back to the interstate and also area restaurants. I would recommed a stay at this hotel if you are only staying over a night or so.

Pricing was reasonable. Location was noisy due to interstate. This hotel was okay for a last minute stay. I would have preferred if the rooms were more sound proof per had a hard time falling asleep with the constant noise from traffic on interstate which ran beside hotel. Overall the room was very clean.

Everyone at the hotel was so nice and friendly. Very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again. Next time will call the hotel directly instead of using a "discount" service like Hotel.com. It was more expensive to use them rather than book directly with the hotel. I learned a valuable but expensive lesson.

Hotel staff was friendly upon arrival. Beds were comfortable. Internet service was unavailable. Room was clean, but had a slight odor to it. Front desk called as soon as we got in the room to see if it was OK. Found baby cockroaches in the bathroom in the morning. Called front desk and their answer was to spray the room while we were there. Apologized for the inconvenience, but offered nothing else. Very disapplointed. Stayed elsewhere for the remainder of our Beaumont visit.

We stayed overnight. The pool is small and right at the road, but clean. The room was very clean, fairly large, and had a fridge and a microwave. Management was responsive when we needed towels and also to a blind patron who was there while we were there. Breakfast included fresh waffles--a nice touch. All in all a good experience

If you want to recommend a hotel in Beaumont, TX to your worst enemy, the Howard Johnson is it. For your friends, please send them elsewhere. The Howard Johnson is run-down, dirty, and otherwise unappealing.

Non-smoking room smelled like smoke & very noisy from interstate traffic. Nice, but very noisy.

Smelled and looked clean. Free breakfast was very skimpy. Initially, I thought I had made a mistake in coming to this hotel, but the staff was quite friendly. The rooms were very clean and every day upon returning smelled clean. Although the motel looks at IH-10, there is a historic neighborhood behind the motel which is perfect for walking. All in all, I felt quite safe here.

This is a small property right off of Interstate 10 in midtown and easy to access. It is very clean and the staff was cordial. While it has to restaurant, it is a short distance from several. I did not use the pool so I can't comment on it.

The check in process was very smooth. It is located just off a highway, so it's just not very pretty. This hotel met our needs adequately. The room had ample space, the beds were comfortable, the rest room was clean, and the breakfast selection was acceptable. This hotel does a good job at providing safe clean accommodations for the traveling family at an affordable price, but would not be my choice for a vacation destination. I was pleased with the overall experience, and if I had t pass through Beaumont again would probably stay there again.

Great location for the place I need to travel serveral different times. Easy access to the freeway. The front staff was really great and helpful. They were able to give great directions to the places I needed to go. A great location to travel to Lamar University and Parkdale Mall and other surrounding stores and eating places.

Clean. There were loud noises, fighting going on next door, which made us feel unsafe at first. We called the front desk and they were very kind and said they would take care of it. They did and overall it was a very pleasant stay.
