Had a nice and comfortable stay - room, sheets, bathroom were nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and also took care of special requests like late night milk for my kid. Was quite and in almost serene settings. Close to city and attractions as well.

Not one thing comes to mind, you should remove it from your list. Everything. The staff did not even know what was going on from what they had posted on their own board, floor in bath had too many cracks in tile to count, pillows were like Jello. Junk in courtyard, smelled so bad had to get air freshener.

This HJ is fine for a quick overnight business trip. Not fancy or posh but consider the rate you're paying. Everything in my room was clean and worked fine. Not luxury, not first class so dont complain about it not being that. Breakfast was typical but decent, no problems at all.

They let me change rooms when my first room wasn't clean. Very dirty. I was very disappointed with the level of cleanliness at this hotel. For the price I was quoted, I expected at the very least cleanliness. However, they did let me switch rooms when I was unhappy, but the 2nd room wasn't much better.

Will never stay there again. Conditions were deplorable. No working internet connections in rooms. This property lost 50-60 hotel nights/year because of conditions and lack of caring by management.

The man at the desk was friendly. The room. The room is gross and out of date, dirty, dingy, will never stay again, couldn't sleep too gross.

Clean and well maintained hotel. The room was of a good size, comfortable, and very clean. The staff were very helpful and courteous especially at check-in and at check-out After check-out we realized that I had left my digital camera in the room that contained pictures of our new grandson. We called the hotel and returned back to the hotel. My wife with the desk clerk went back into the room and recovered the camera. A great place that deserves compliments

Staff were helpful with finding local attractions. Restaurant/bar shown on website did not exist; place filthy in general. I was very displeased with the hotel overall. The quality of the place did not match the description or pictures shown on your website. It was in the middle of nowhere, difficult to find, looked abandoned when we arrived, and went downhill from there.

"The room was poorly maintained - cobwebs hanging from ceiling, stained carpet and bedding, dirty upholstery and it appeared that the wallpaper had been removed and never replaced with any other treatment. I was afraid for my children to touch anything. We were glad for the late check-in and early check-out; the less time the better to stay in this filthy and pathetic excuse for a hotel room."

Check in was quick and courteous at 1 a.m. Outdoor walk entrance and walkway. For a one star this hotel was nice, with spacious room and nice staff but bathroom not as clean as I would have liked.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The rooms were very roomy and supplied with all the extra's one needs. They were short in suppling the towells and wash cloths in the rooms at check in but were happy to supply more at our request. The only complaint was that one of the rooms we rented was not cleaned as well as it could have been. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again when in town.

"The room was poorly maintained and not clean. The bedspread had a rip in it. There was mold on the tile about the shower. There were cobwebs haning above the mirror in the bathroom. The toilet needed cleaning?there was a ring around it. The breakfast bar was poor. The rolls were still frozen, not completely thawed. The coffee was cold, or at least luke warm. The windows in the room were very dirty. The walls were paper thin and you could hear people in the next room just moving around. The whole building looked tired and worn."

It was close to the fairgrounds, clean and had friendly staff. Could have been closer to restaurant, seemed to be isolated. The hotel was close to the fair grounds, it did seem a bit isolated as to nearby restaurants though. Our room was clean, the area safe and the staff friendly. Seems like a good deal for the price.

Location was great. Front desk was there to help when needed. Gave the children packets for their pleasure. Also provided tourist information for the area. Good maps and help on movies to see was supplied by the front desk. Was a good stay and the pool was great. Continental breakfast was sparse but adequete.

From the road, this hotel did not look open. There were no cars in the lot and no windows on the front of the building. Our room was quite dirty and some of the tiles in the bathroom were broken and were coming loose. There appeared to be a hole in the floor underneath the carpet. The fitted sheet was not the appropriate size and was stretched to fit the bed anyway. There was a large group at the hotel who were in town for a car show at the fair grounds. They were revving their engines and squealing around the parking lot at 11 pm. It would have been helpful if the staff could have reprimanded them for making so much noise. There was only one person at the reception desk and he was pulled away from the front desk numerous times. Apparently, this hotel, most of the timeis understaffed. I would never stay here again!

The Continental breakfast. The poor up keep of the room, and a constant reminding staff to put in enough towels to accommodate guest in the room. The hotel staff was very accommodating with information on activities and sites. However, the rooms were not clean well, the furniture was falling apart, the heating unit didn't work properly, and the cabinet that surrounded it was held together by a chair that was station next to it. I was very displeased with this hotel and more likely than not to stay in another Howard Johnson Hotel again.
