Date of Stay:

The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. It was raining during our stay in Mobile we stayed inside the hotel more than we'd like to. Overall, we had a positive experience staying at this hotel.

Stayed here for my rest on the way to Tampa, FL. I got a king bed which was quite comfy. The location is off Government and I-65. I wish the pool was open but the front desk lady said they were doing maintenance on it. Overall this facility is comparable to a Days Inn. I gave facilities 2 star because pool was not open. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

This is an older hotel near the I65 exit. We stayed here on our road trip to Florida. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. The staff was courteous and friendly. The only complaint that we had was that we could hear the doors slamming next door due to this being an interior corridor hotel. Other than that, we enjoyed our stayed here due to its price.

My husband and I stayed here while waiting for our cruise ship the next day. Our room was clean. There were lots of pillows. The location was convenient for us to get to the cruise ship the next day. We recommend this hotel if you'd like an affordable stay.

The price, the location. It was dirty, they handed the key to my room to a strange man who walked in on my wife and the roof leaked above my bed the best part was when I left. I would rather sleep in the airport, after confirming my arrival time of four o'clock they still did not have my room ready and made me wait twenty minutes for what I am not sure it was still both dirty and no ashtray in a smoking room the phones did not work so it was walk from the back of the hotel past the rows of overfilled waste buckets to the desk or rack up minutes on my personnel cell even after complain to the desk which should have made them remember my room number. Two hours later, they handed a gentlemen a room key to my room who walked in on my wife getting out of the shower. The staff and their simple it was an over sight on our part was as empty as the rest of the apart service you get there. No wonder why this once well known chain is so infrequently even spoken of anymore.

Someone tried to break into my car at this sketchy hotel. Enough said.

Location. Bugs, trash running over, pool not usable, filthy carpets, mold and mildew, bad odor. This hotel is a nightmare in Mobile, AL. It is filthy inside and out.

We will never stay at a Howard Johnson again. The air conditioning did not work. The fan in the bathroom did not work. Pool was suppose to be fixed by June 15 but was still down July 9. On the last day there it was open but filthy. We changed rooms after first night and that door going out the balcony was broke but was overall a little better room. Staff was very nice and friendly but hotel is in dier need of major repairs. Resteraunt was closed and they were fixing the roof.We had a three year old with us and went back to the room early to get a nap and the bed was stripped and it took over a half hour just to get someone from cleaning to make up the bed. I ended up getting the sheets and making it my self. I didn't mind doing it but I thought you didn't leave a room unless it was completed while cleaning.

The patio doors off the rooms. Pool wasn't open, 3 ice machines were not working. They need to fix what is broken and have it ready to be used by there customers. We had to walk from our room to the 2nd floor opposite building to get ice. Three other machines did not work, hello it was 90 degrees out! Plus, again with the weather the pool was closed both in the evening and until after checkout. This was the worst hotel ever that I have stayed at with your company. Also I should mention the evening front staff was more annoyed by customers coming in then helpful, I guess the cell phone call was more important than the job.

First of all they could not find our reservations. The rooms were not clean, I was so happy I only had to stay one night. Then come to find out they charged me for three rooms when I only had two. I will never stay here again!!

Parking. Room not well lit, door hard to open, no security. This is the stickiest hotel I've been to. No security because all the entrance from the back side are all open. The room is poorly lit and the door is hard to open from the outside. There is a patio but you can't get out. Overall, this is poor quality hotel.

Free breakfast 6am/9am cereal no bowls, pastries out at 6:30 ,toast, milk, oatmeal, juice no cups coffee no cups breakfast room had no a/c very hot. Ice machine on floor did not work, walked to lobby ice machine did not work. Was told one on second floor worked,it did.Long walk with no air in hallways. Wife asked for extra pillow, was told we have zero pillows and zero towels,we do have two washclothes if you want one come and get it,I am the only one here.On the goodside the room was clean and comfortable. As my daughter stated it smelled good.I would not recommend nor stay there again.

I have nothing good to say about the hotel. The hotel didn't have a Wi-Fi connection (confirmed by the receptionist), a leak of some type made the floor of the hallway and area around the door to my room constantly wet, and the receptionist was rude and acted as though questions I had were a waste of her time.

Room smelled like Cat urine, staff was very rude. The clientiel looks sketchy. BEWARE!

The hotel was not very clean, there was no coffee or juice or milk at breakfast at around 8:30 in the morning. The glass sliding door would not lock and there was mold on the bathtub. The pool was filled with green water and there was only one ice machine that worked in the whole building(in the lobby). The area was conveniently right off the interstate but the surroundings of the hotel were not well maintained.

It is available. There were bugs. A cockroach lingered on the ceiling. Ants were in the bed. I am still healing from multiple ant bites on my finger. Hotel as poor, poor upkeep, bad staff and service, and a noticeable pest problem. I would probably have dealt with more literate, knowledgeable and responsive staff. Poor choice to say the least.

The staff there was very helpful, my husband and I travel alot for bussiness. They were very helpful with getting us what we need. We had a great stay there. We are look forward to staying there again

Location. No microwaves or refrigerators in my room, but was told tow of each was in my partners room! The ice machine wasn't working on my floor! It wasn't a so nice experience! But I am no person that will complain unless it is too bad to bare and won't stay there no more!

Good ,clean ,comfortable . Good amentitys. Fairly easy off and on the highway. Bed was very comfortable. Quiet rooms and good local channels on the tv. Would stay here again.
