Date of Stay: July, 2008

When we checked in to the hotel, our flight was a late arrival, the clerk gave us the keys to goto our room and they didn't work. I asked for new ones so we could get in so we could go eat since we had not done so yet and they still did not work. The clerk said someone would have to fix it in the morning so we could not leave so I asked for the number of someone that would deliver, received one number for food and they were closed. Next day no one came to fix the door, had to go check on it and the clerk did not leave a message for anyone to fix. I was then told it would take over an hour to fix, we had plans and still had not eaten (no posting of breakfast hours). I asked for a new room since this was a incovenience and was told no I could not but insisted and finally received. The rooms had no bathroom light, have the lamps in the room did not work, there was a cracker under one door so big that bugs could crawl thru. Then they had a problem with my billing and didn't know how to get paid. They took my credit card info from me so at this point I better not get charged for this twice by them.

The hotel in general was good. We only had one problem and that was every day the clean up staff only gave us two wash cloths, two hand towels and 3 dry towels. There was 4 of us in the room. Five if you include the baby. Everyday I had to call and ask for more towels and for the first two days they told us to wait until clean up and the job would be fixed the next day. Finally day 3 I asked the front desk why this problem kept occuring. "Do you understand that there are FOUR people in this room. Do you just not have enough towels for all the number of guests" I asked? And oh wow can you believe that for the rest of vacation we got the towels we asked for when we asked. Yes we still had to call for them everyday after clean up, but we still got them and didn't have to wait until the next day.

We had 2 towels and no wash cloths until the last day we were there. The pool had a dangling light and we were afraid that we might get electrocuted.No parking lot lights were on until the day we left.It was very dark and we did not feel safe leaving the room at night.The arcade was blocked off and we were told everything in there was broken, with kids this was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. we couldn't even use it. I tried to receive a fax at the front desk, the sender tried 8 times only to be told the fax is broken, we then told them of our need to get this fax and they sent us down the street to the Clarion only to get more frustrated and guess why? Right their fax was broken as well.Oh yea the best part was that day one the power went out and no one even came to check with us to see if we were ok. I was with a 9 year old that is afraid of the dark so I spent several hours out looking for a flash light to buy, I should have been offered one by the hotel.NO hair dryer or iron.My advise would be if you are considering this hotel DON'T!!!!

It looked good from the front outside, but rooms did not have safe, iron, or hair dryer as indicated. Pool looked ok. Rooms were dingy, dirty, the county jail is down the street. It was dark in the parking lot and we checked out the next AM. The only folks we saw staying there were the truck drivers. Not the best area.

This wasnt a bad place for the money. They were renovating the rooms next to ours and the crew got started about 8am. It didn't bother us too much because we were usually up and out to Disney by 9am. The room was super spacious and the kitchenette helped save money on meals. The beds were comfy, and having 2 bathrooms & 2 tv's was GREAT!! I was a little taken aback by the 'prison' down the street though, and it was pretty dark @ night. In my opinion it was wayyyy too far from Disney. It took aobut 45 mins to get there some mornings. Food & Grocery Stores were close though.
