If you are looking for something that is locally centered this is a good hotel. If you want breakfast dont relie on the breakfast they have there. Out of the 3 nights i stayed i only got the room in coffee 2x. Went to go find coffee at the breakfast area there was none and no one there to make some. But there are plenty of places to go to eat around the hotel. If you have a limited budget and dont want any thing fancy or expecting too much, this hotel will work.

Near the Coliseum and near the mall... I had to stay here when the power went out from teh light storm. The sheet came off the bed- I saw cigarette burns on the mattress. On the plus side, I got to take my dog.

this hotel was to be rated a 3 star hotel. I was really disappointed. The walls were broken in our room, everything looked super outdated and it had a smell of just old. The old heating unit said, super 8 motel. I thought I was staying at a nice Hotel, not a cheezy motel room. I am also a Referring Travel Agent, I will not recommend Howard Johnson to anyone unless, they justify why they lied and rated the hotel a 3 star.

The hotel looked like it was falling apart. The siding was falling off the side and it looked like it was damages around the building. There was holes in the walls and the toilet would not flush properly.

It was a fun stay at the fully rennovated Howard Johnson at 522 E. Coliseum Blvd., Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Customer Service was great. This Motel location in the heart of the City of Fort Wayne, surrounded by a excellent Mall, Coliseum and many great places...

July, 2008
The room it's self was clean and seemed recently remolded. Towels dingy, it made me wonder if they were clean. The recent renovation was not complete, sinks and trash from renovation all around the building. Grass and weeds were overgrown all around the building. No elevator, have difficulty with steps. I do realize this was a one star rating but just the general upkeep of this facility was very poor.

The location was great, close to the ball diamond and near local restaurants. The hotel was old, dark in the rooms and the continental breakfast ran out of food in an hour. This was by on means a fancy hotel and I knew that. It was close to the Fort Wayne Wizards ball diamond, local restaurants and the price was low. I did expect the walls to be hole free. The continental breakfast to have enough food for those who choose to use it and this was not the case.

Close to shopping/dining. Coffee pot did not work, walls were filthy, staff refused to supply additional amenities. This hotel would be great if you do not expect anything from the beginning. I question if the sheets had been changed prior to my arrival, there appeared to be snot on the walls, the coffee pot did not work. This was a smoking room, and the actual owner refused to provide me and my guest with an additional ashtray; said one is enough, "we don't have anymore". We had requested a wake up call, in which we did not receive. Our room key was only good for 12 hours, so every 12 hours it had to be renewed by the front desk staff.

The price was good. Sheets, mattresses, pillows, were downright disgusting. The hotel looks good from outside, and inside the halls, and in appearances when you first walk in the door, but I was terribly disappointed in the beds, sheets, pillows, etc, and didn't feel comfortable sleeping in that sub-standard bedding.

Was ok. They need a bigger sign outside. It was very adequate, good value, nothing cool but nothing obnoxious.

Nothing. Everything. Bad, never use you to book a room again.
