The staff was great! It was not the cleanest hotel and it was under construction! The staff did their best with what they had, but the hotel itself could have been a lot better. The room were not very nice and the hotel itself looked like it was under a remolding job.

We came to cincinnati to visit with family and to go to Kings Island. The location was fabulous, very close to all the places we wanted to visit. The hotel is a bit older but the rooms were clean and the staff was excellent, very helpful with directions and they took care of us well. I recommend this hotel to families on a buget that want clean room, location and great service. we will be back.

It was easy to find. The hotel was very dirty and upkeep. The entire hotel smelled badly and the young ladies who waited on us were unhelpful. I would never go back to this hotel or recommend that anyone ever go.

Basically a nice hotel but very understaffed. The continental breakfast was not worth bothering with, they ran out of coffee by 9:00A.M. and made no attempt to remake any. The outside could use some maintenance help. Did not get my room cleaned every day. All in all for the price and proximity to town it was worth it.

Location to 71. The level of cleanliness, and fact that outside building doors were suppose to lock after certain hour-weren't.

Well.... over all it was dirty, gross, and stunk?BAD. The walls were moldy. The ceiling leaked on our bed. We told the front desk they came down and looked. He said, ?I need to go check above you." It was very obvious to anyone that the ceiling had been patched several times and it was leaking again. They offer us a new room or any solutions to our problem. My husband had to ask for new sheets. We had to move or bed clear across the room for us not to get wet. The room smelled so bad! It had a horrible mold smell! The coffee pot was in the bathroom next to the toilet. It was Memorial weekend and the pool was not open. It should have been. Over all we were greatly disappointed. We read all the review and thought it would be an 80 savings as to where we were going to stay. But the neighborhood was not the best and it would have been better to pay the extra for cleanliness and security. Overall we won?t go to another Howard Johnson again.

It was less expensive than the others. It was filthy with damaged carpet, ashes and filled with drug dealers. I hated this hotel. I actually felt unsafe there since someone asked my boyfriend to buy drugs from him while we were getting ice. We were in a non-smoking room that had cigarette ashes everywhere. It smelled like smoke. The carpet was stained in many places and there were holes in the walls that were patched poorly. The tv barely worked and the bed was terribly uncomfortable. The service was amicable but far from friendly and because it took me so long to get the room on a holiday weekend, we didn't dispute the arrangements and stayed there anyway.

Pleasantly surprised! The staff was very nice and seemed to really care about my needs. Also the rooms were clean and fresh, the housekeeper was excellent. I also loved the location, it was close to 71 and in a nice suburban part of town, but close enough to downtown for my meetings.

Hotel staff was very friendly. Next door to a bar- very loud after hrs. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel backs right up to bar so use your imagination! I'm sure that most of the patrons just walk right on over to the hotel when the bar closes. The hallway was very dirty but the room was okay. It was fine for us because we were only there for 7 hrs total. Would not stay there for any length of time.

I checked in late Friday night and the room that I got had a roach fogger in the middle of the bedroom floor & tons of dead small bugs all over the bathroom floor. There was a big stain on the carpet and the beds looked extremely dirty. The shower head was leaking onto the spigot which created mold.

The hotel was a pleasant suprise. The price we paid was excellent, the room looked as if it had been recently renovated, new carpet, new flat screen etc.. The continental breakfast was great for the kids (poptarts, fruit, cereal etc..) and my husband liked the free wireless internet. The front desk staff was extremly helpful and went out of their way to assist us and give us tips about the city. We also liked the location, very close to highways, and restruants.

Close/convenient to interstate. Bed was extremely hard (like cardboard). Room smelled like dirty clothes. Shower did have constant hot water. It was convenient for shopping and eating places and close to the interstate and the places we needed to go.

Themanager is really smart and has good customer service & problem solving skills. Too dirty, the front-desk staff is incompetent. Furthermore, the breakfast was a joke and not well stocked enough to feed even a few people. This place is in need of better management and upkeep. Individually, some of the staffis competent but, some are not. They are all amiable. The whole experience is somewhat irritating, as the place needs to be better maintained and the breakfast and internet service promises need to be fulfilled.

"The carpet was dirty, the shower had mold in it, the toliet seat had something stuck to it. Not the best hotel on the planet."

I really liked the comfort of a restaurant beside hotel. Lazy,I had to get own towels, no real maid service, no water pressure. My stay was bad. I stay at so many hotels, never this one again. Service was lazy. I had no maid clean up, rooms out dated. Service lady was not very interested in doing much more than herself.

The housekeeper tidy the room nicely. The people at the front desk were awful. The room smelled funny. The ice machine didn't work. The front desk staff was downright rude. The water in the shower was warm. The beds were okay. The TV worked.

"It was roach infested, the staff was incompetent, the toliet in my room wouldn't stop running, they had a rent a cop whihc lets me know that maybe i didn't stay in the most safest area of town, etc. i could go on and on about my stay. it was the worse hotel i have ever stayed in"
