We were looking for a cheap place to flop for the night and we got that. It was clean but in need remodeling and repairs.

It was very close to the Meadowlands Sports Complex for an amazing price. Parking was a little cramped. The hotel was overall very nice. The rooms were well kept and the staff was very friendly. Checking in and out was a snap. If you had questions about the surrounding area, they were quick to offer assistance. The only down side we had while staying there was our view. They seemed to use our sliding door area as a storage space for their pool chairs. This didn't bother us to much since we really didn't use this space.

This has been my worst experience ever..... the internet in my room wasent workin so I spent most of the time during my stay in front of the reception and saw multiple ppl complaining about the problems they faced to the help desk guys and they only solution they give is "Do you want to change the ROOM" I have seen arnd 10 ppl havin to change room in 2 days some cos their toilet wasent workin and troubles like that... The positive reviews listed here were written by the HOTEL MANAGEMENT guys themselves I guess... cos I havent seen even a single happy customer ove here.... I had to chang my room 3 times... for a unique different problem each room had... one wasent cleaned (there were dirty towels all around) man Please AVOID if ya can... Don even think of stayin here... all they do is change your room as if it were some great favor....

The rooms were very clean, and cleaned very nicely each day of our stay. Cleaning staff did not disturb the placement of our personal belongings. The outside doors in the rear and on the side of the building did not lock, though they should've. They had key-card access devices, but you just had to pull the handle and you're in. The pool was completely empty. No sign indicating why or when it may be back in service. Good location - 15 minutes to Times Square, NYC. Overall good, but the unlocked doors were more disturbing than the empty pool.

I like that the hotel was in a quite area and the restaurants around the hotel were good. The room was not really as cleanily as I expected, the cloth hangers were broken, and there was no remote controller for the television set. The hotel was not the worst that I have ever been in the it was most certainly not the best by no means. The TV set needed to be fixed because it had no volume and for what was offered the room was extremely small. It felt like it was an ant farm.

Overall, just a wee bit pricey. The room itself, was not bad at all. Bathroom was nice and clean(The mini axe body wash, nice touch). My only compliant, other than the construction downstairs, was the room next door to mine. Either it was a party or newlyweds next door awakeing me @530 AM.

It was clean. The outside was strewn with trash. Mattresses were not comfortable. Other guests slammed doors all night.

A skunk had sprayed outside our apartment, so we "took refuge" at this Ho-Jo. It was the equivalent of jumping from the frying pan into the fire. The door to the room had paint splatters/smears on the outside (a bad omen). When we got inside the room, it smelled like someone's dirty clothes hamper! The majority of the switches on the walls didn't work, or we couldn't figure out what they were intended to operate. I had to walk all through the dark room just to find the first operable light switch. In order to reduce contact with the sheets, we didn't take our street clothes off before getting into the bed. The headboard on the bed was loose, so any time one of us moved, it would slam against the wall. I finally stuffed a pillow between the wall the the headboard. The smell woke my fiancee up two or three times through the night.I've stayed in many "roadside" hotels/motels. This was the second-worst room I have stayed in; the worst had all the problems this room had plus exposed wiring.

I stayed there only for one night, room was clean, it was very close to airport, Staff were helpful and friendly. I would definetly reccomend this hotel

Proximity to work. Noisy environment, elevator dirty & smelly. The room was clean the bathroom was clean, that's pretty much all I wanted. It had a microwave & fridge which were a big plus. The alarm clock was grungy and was set by a prior guest which went off around 1:30am! The maid should check & clean it. It was rather noisy up on the 4th floor, due to outside highway traffic, sirens, etc. Probably do better on a lower floor. The elevator was dirty and had a funny smell. Other then that, all in all it was ok for the money.

The night time counter staff(Man) lift his working area and go to the customer sofa to watch TV and make personal telephone call.No printer is provided in Business Center. When I asked the staff to help to print by his printer in office, he refused and claimed that his computer did not have internet connection. He lied because I had booked the room by e-mail. If they does have internet connection, how can they printer our our booking? No breasfast!Worst counter service, old restroom.

A reasonable bed with threadbare sheets. Decor is of the 1960's, dinged and damaged. Furniture and lighting need replacing. Electrical wiring is inadequate for the fridge, microwave and TV. Slider windows leak air and literally are kept closed with cellophane tape. Carpeting is stained. A reasonable location to stay for northern NJ.

The wireless internet did not work. Business travel requires internet connections. The staff would not address the problem. The hotel did not provide the basic services which wererequired.

The price for this hotel was cheaper than most, which was why I chose it. The room was always clean. We had a problem with the TV and had to ask the front desk 3 time before they addressed the situation. Finally I went down there and politely asked them for a specific time frame for when it would be fixed, and within 10 minutes it was done! So if you have a problem, be direct with the people at the front desk and get a deadline for when issues will be addressed, otherwise they'll put you off! The back staircase had a leak in the ceiling that dripped when it rained. The wallpaper in the room had 3 patches on it where holes had been covered up with wallpaper patches. One of the patches was stapled. So, overall, it was an OK hotel. It was clean. But the service wasn't stellar. The hotel is starting to look a bit beaten up. But hey, the price was awesome.

Nice, clean rooms, quiet location, great restaurants at or close by hotel, friendly and accommodating staff, good parking, safe environment. Have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and will stay therewhen in the area. Very clean and comfortable rooms, quiet, safe, nice staff, good restaurants at or close by hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area.

We stayed here while we traveled back and forth from NYC. It was convienient for that. Right when you walk in, the h otel has a very odd/old smell. Every floor the smell changes for the better or worse. Our room had an odor of it's own. I wish the hotel would replace the carpet throughout the building. The bathrooms weren't that great to us, but they did the job. The first night one of us took a shower and it didnt drain the water at all. Woke up the next morning and it was still there. I called the front desk and the guy came up and swirled his hanger down there and the water went away. The tub did leak every time we took a shower. The room worked for the purpose but walk around with your socks on because when you look at the bottom of your socks you will see what you are walking on. I might stay there again if money was the issue again, but hopefully we find something a little better. The locks are the backdoor were like I've never seen. Even still, I didnt feel that safe with them. They need more secure doors. Lastly, the pool that we thought would be there was actually all dried up with green water at the deepest part. Good luck with swimming! Oh and one more thing, don't mind the cleaning people, they LOVE the stare at you. We did get towels whenever we wanted them though. We kept the DND on the door the whole time we stayed.

Nothing. Everything. Everyone was very unfriendly and not helpful at all. No one spoke very good English, was very hard to communicate. And the hotel was nothing like what the internet provided. It was nasty, smelled, and was in a very bad neighborhood.

We needed a place to stay after a wedding in the area and it was easy to find and offered the best price around. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities we wanted, very clean, and quiet. Plus a great restaurant to have breakfast right on the premises. I was very satisfied and would highly recommend it.
